"...aihara? Mr. Saihara, can you hear me?"

"Shuichi! Open your eyes, dammit!"

I kept hearing similiar words for a couple of more moments, before I managed to move my eyelids. I was unable to see anything from the brightness. It caused me to close my eyes right after I opened them.

But before I could understand what was going on, two hands grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me violently. "W-Whoah!" I felt a body surrounding me.

"I was so scared! Don't you do that ever again!" Who's talking? Finally, with my eyes adjusting to the light, I starting seeing everything.

"Ka.. Kaito?"

He raised his head to look at me. He had tears in his eyes, falling down his cheek one after another. My eyes widened with shock of seeing my dead friend, in front of me, ugly crying. He looked so stressed out, and had a hospital gown on him.

"W...Wh...What... a dream?"

"No! I'm real, I'm alive dude! We're all alive!" He paused for a moment, trying to fix his trembling voice. "I mean, for now, but that's not important at the moment." He wiped his tears and smiled ear to ear. But now, I was the one crying. My eyes were still wide, my mouth was open as I tried to say something but couldn't. I felt more and more tears sliding down my face and reaching to my neck. "This isn't a dream, right? Y.. You... e-everyone..? Alive? How? What hapenned to me? Where is everyone?!"

"Calm down buddy, everyone is here. I'll explain everything." Just then, I noticed a purple haired nurse behind Kaito looking at me with relieved eyes.

"Good morning Mr. Saihara. M..My name is Mikan Tsumiki and I will be your personal nurse during your stay here. I will let you and your friend have some time alone together. Then I will make some details more clear. Let me know when you finish talking"

The nurse smiled warmly at us before closing the door behind. "So, how are you feeling?"

"I'm okay, but can you explain now?"

"Oh, yeah, sure."

He sighed longly and sat on the chair near my bed. "After you guys walked through the crack, you lost consciousness due to exhaustion and shock. They said your brain had a hard time adjusting everything in the game, then when you got out, it kind of shut itself off. I thought something was going to happen to you at some point.

And for everyone else, most of them are fine. I don't know how they managed to keep us alive, but Korekiyo, Tsumugi and Gonta are still gettin' treatment, and, well..." He looked like he couldn't get the words out. I stared at him with worried eyes, thinking someone wasn't able to wake up.

"Kokichi, he's.." Kokichi? Oh, that's right. I remember what hapenned to him now. "What about him? Did he... not wake up?"

"Well, kind of. At least not for now. He's in a coma. They said he never woke up since he got out. But let's look on the bright side, he's still alive! And I'm pretty sure he'll annoy us again not so long after." Kaito put on his usual wide grin. If I'm being honest, I missed it so much. It was so relieving knowing everyone was alive. Everyone... Wait, that's right, Kaede! "What about Kaede? She's here, right? I want to see her."

"Yes, she is. But not so fast. Miss Tsumiki has to explain things to you." I nodded unwillingly while watching him get out of the room. After he dissappeared from my eyesight, the nurse came in again. She smiled at me and sat to the chair Kaito stood up from. I didn't say or do anything, I just glared at her. I assumed she was working with the Danganronpa Team, so she wasn't up to good anyways.
"H-Hello, Mr. Saihara. How are you feeling?"
