VIII: Love Affair

Y/n's POV

I met up with Mina to finally start on our revenge, I went to her apartment. She's helping me on taking down Suho, she got the proofs of him being an awful human being that I don't have

"Reading this breaks my heart"

Mina said after reading Jennie's suicide letter, I received it the day Jennie died. Remembering it is still painful and I regretted the times I wasn't with her, how much I wished to turn back time and fight for us instead of giving up

"I recorded him making out with some woman, I think that's enough to ruin his image?" I said

"A man cheating is too common, people wouldn't think much of it. We should destroy him to the core, though that video you sent me is still helpful. I have a friend who can upload it anonymously" she said

I look at the files then read it, he's really a horrible person. He physically abuses his employees if they did something wrong or if he just feels like being an asshole, no former workers of his tries to report him because he's powerful and their complaints won't do anything. That's what I did before, I reported him to the police but he used his damn connections

"Are you okay?" Mina looked at me

"Yeah.." I smiled

"We're getting there, hold on tight. Our lives will finally be peaceful, Jennie can finally rest in peace"

"By the way, where did you get this evidence? I got some before but Suho's men took it from me, That's why I stopped getting justice because I got no proofs of him"

"Would you believe it? I sneaked into his office"

"Good job on there" I chuckled

Next day …

"How are you, dad?" I asked, I visited dad in the hospital. Mom is at the market so I could freely see him

"I'm going fine, but I think you're not. Look at your face, I told you not to overwork yourself"

"Don't think about me, dad. You should look after your health, have you taken your medication for today?"

"Yes, Minji just gave it to me earlier" Dad said

"That's good"

Minji then comes inside the room, I look at her and she's not wearing her uniform

"Yah why are you here?" I asked and she looked at me shocked

"You think I wouldn't be here early in the morning, huh? Why are you here, you should be in school by now. Don't tell me you're cutting!" I said

"I'm not, it's just our sports fest, we don't have classes and I don't plan on watching the games so I left early!"

"You sure?" I asked

"I'm sure!" Minji said annoyed and sat down, I glanced back at dad

"You should go now, Minji will look after me"

"Alright, just tell Minji to call me if you need anything, okay?" I said, he nodded

"Bye, dad. See you again" I said

"You better be telling the truth, I don't want your adviser to call me again and say that you're not attending classes" I said to Minji before leaving

I got a call from her adviser a week ago saying her classmate had seen her cutting classes, her teacher said it might be because of her fight with Hwajin. I talked to Minji about it, she just told me she was lazy and there's nothing more. I scolded her but she promised me that she'll come to school now. I monitored her for a week because I'm worried that she might fail her classes, she shouldn't because she's in her last year of high school
