The vigilante among heroes

Prologue 3

      Ren was in the car of he's new adoptive father waiting to see where he would be staying in untill Sojiro started talking "Kid, I want you to know the reason why I adopted you." Ren looked at him curiously and nodded, then Sojiro continued "Well, I have a daughter one year younger than you. (Yes, Futaba is Sojiro's biological daughter here) And when my wife died some years ago she took it badly and doesn't want to leave our house, sometimes even her room and is having difficulty trying to talk to people other than me. So I adopted you to try and help me with her, but for now you'll be staying on my caffee due to her condition.", Ren was a little overwhelmed by all the information, but he tried to be understanding and agreed helping him.

      After a while they arrived at the cafe, "I am going to open in a while, so when I'm working I just want you to be quiet and not mess with the clients, I'll show you your room" Sojiro said and started going upstairs to the attic, Ren followed. Arriving in the attic Sojiro said "that's going to be your room, I actually cleaned before bringing you in, also the orphanage bringed the rest of your things and they are in that box over there, prepare to go to school, since you still have to go today, even if you moved." Ren nodded and said while bowing "Thank you, I appreciate everything you did sir." Sojiro responded "No problem kid and there is no need to call me sir, just call me Sakura-san or boss." Ren nodded, anderstanding and said "Ok, I'll be going to school now, thank you Boss.", but before leaving, Sojiro said "Just rember that at night I'll introduce you to my daughter.", Ren nodded once again before leaving.

      As he left the cafe, called Le'blanc, which he would be living in from now on, and after arriving at Shujin, he was greeted by Sumire "Hello Ren-senpai! Do you want to go to the arcade with me today after school? Kasumi will stay in the orphanage since she is sick." Ren smiled and said "Sure Sumire, anything for my little sister." Sumire was flustered, because she never got acustumed to Ren calling her 'little sister', even if they were like siblings to each other. They went to their respective classes as they entered Shujin academy, the only interesting thing that would be happening that day was Chess class, since he enjoyed it a lot and also was the best chess player in his class, also volleyball training would start for some of his friends on the volleyball team.

      During lunch he seated with Ann, Ryuji, Sumire and Shiho, his bests friends along side Kasumi, but she was sick, so she was not there, Ryuji started asking, "hey, you guys wanna hang out in the arcade or something after class? They finally installed a place to play rock band with a full band and there is also bowling there as well!" Ren then responded, "I actually was heading there with Sumire after class, so yep, let's go there." everyone one was very exited, but Shiho said "Sorry, but the volleyball classes are going to start today, so I won't be able to go" She seemed upset that she wouldn't be able to go, but she said that next time she would go, little did they know, that was the beggining of the end of their circule of friends.

      the arcade was pretty fun and Ren was tired, he went bac to the cafe and when he entered he heard Sojiro saying "Ah, you're back. I was going to close the shop, but I want you to help me with my daughter at my home like we talked earlier." Ren nodded and started following Sojiro as the man was walking to his house, but before they entered, he said "Oh and kid... She may get a little... well... you see, just try and be nice to her". Ren was clearly confused, but he just shrugged it of, since he didn't expect anything he couldn't handle and decided to just roll with it.

      When they entered Sojiro said "Futaba, I'm home. I brought you the game you asked", to no response, Sojiro sighed as he walked up. Ren decided to follow Sojiro up the stairs as they stopped in front of a door, Sojiro knocked on it gently and then Ren heard a feminine voice from someone around his age saying "Can you leave it at the door for me, dad? I'll grab it later" Sojiro tried yet again by saying "Just come here pretty quickly to grab your game" that's when the noise of a door being unlocked and opened, revealing a orange haired girl that looked like Sumire's age she grabbed the xbox video game case that sojiro was holding untill she saw that there was someone next to her dad, it was a kid one year older than her and Sojiro said "Well, Futaba, this is your new adopted brother, Ren Amamiya. Say hi to him." Futaba looked confused and than entered in panick saying "H-hi! N-nice t-to meet to y-you!" she said rapidly and closed the door to her room, Sojiro then said "Well, some progress at least. I'll get you bac to the cafe now for you to get to sleep". Ren then followed Sojiro to the cafe as he followed him to the cafe untill Ren remembered forgetting something very important at school and decided to get it tomorrow untill Sojiro said "So kid, I won't always be in the cafe when you come back from school or anything of this sort so I'll be giving you some spare keys to the cafe, you can also leave at night, but don't be out untill late, ok?" Ren then smiled and said "Really? Thank you Sakura-san!"

      After Sojiro left, Ren left the cafe and closed the doors and headed to jongen-yaga station and got all the trains to Shujin in front of there he smiled and thought I just need to head into Shujin, get what I left and leave. I can't believe I managed to forget my notebook here at school. When he neared the school he saw a poster with Kamoshida in it and spoke silently "Sometimes I have the feeling that Kamoshida wants to take the school for himself, like a castle of his own. There is also that rivalry between him and the principal of the school like some sort of power struggle", but when he least expected his phone started saying: "Castle; take; power struggle; Destination has been set" Ren then got a mix of confusion and shock as the world around him started becoming distorted and when he least expected There was a castle under a siege in front of him with an ongoing battle with tribuches, siege towers a lot of archers, warriors, knights. Before Ren could even think one of the knights saw him and said "HAULT! This is no place for a kid, I'll be taking you to general Kamoshida so he can decide your punishment." Ren's eyes started showing despair when he started running away and the knight started running towards him.

      Ren was running away as fast as he could, but he hit something heavy, like steel, and fell to the ground and looked up as he saw a very big knight in a silver armor, the knight took his helmet off, revealing Kamoshida behind the helmet with a look of disgust, but he was different, he had yellow eyes and seemed bigger than what he looked like in school. "What do you think you are doing you brat?!?! Stubuling into me, the great general Kamoshida is a crime... PUNISHIBLE BY DEATH!!! GUARDS! ARREST HIM!
