𝖿𝗈𝗋𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋 𝗒𝗈𝗎𝗋𝗌 ; 𝑚𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑚𝑒𝑠

𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥 － 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘯

it was time for mason to leave, he had to go back home and leave shelia in north carolina

"i'll see you again, i promise" mason says

"stop lying mason, you say that and then come back months later, i know you too well" shelia says hugging him tightly

flight 87 is now boarding, flight 87 is now boarding

"shelia i have to go" mason says as they let go

"i'm going to miss you mason" she says with a small smile

"you'll be okay, i'll talk to you everyday, we'll meet again someday okay" he says as he takes his luggage and leaves waving shelia and jacob goodbye

shelia went to the only place she can think of to be alone, the beach, envy told her it's a nice place to just think

she was sitting there, waiting for the sun to set and for the sky to get dark, thinking about someone, no, not just someone, him

she was thinking about the past, what it was like, the future, will it ever be the same, and the present, what is happening with them now

she then heard running and heavy breathing coming from behind her, she turned her back and seen him

"what are you doing here, i thought you left" shelia says as she stands up

"i'm sorry" mason says as he try's to catch his breath

"are you okay, you don't look so good" she says as she sees him breathing in and out quickly

"i just ran from maple street to here, jacob sucks at driving" he says with a small laugh

an hour earlier

mason was now about the board the plane back home, far away from shelia, had he made a mistake not telling her

"don't do it, she might not like you back" he thought

"no your making a huge mistake, go after her" he also thought, mason couldn't choose what to do, go after her, or leave and act like the kiss didn't mean anything

if she didn't mean anything

"go" mason mumbled as he ran and ran though lots of people, bumping into them as he tried to get outside

"hey you forgot your luggage" someone called out, but mason kept running, whatever was in there was easily replaceable but a girl like shelia isn't

"jacob i need a ride to the riverdale beach quickly it's urgent" mason says as he is outside the airport calling jacob

"what, why, i thought you went on the plane like 30 minutes ago" jacob says confused

"like i said it's urgent, please come quickly" mason says as he then hangs up the phone pacing around

jacob tried to drive to the beach as fast as possible because mason said it was urgent, but it was really slow traffic and no cars where moving and so mason did the most stupidest thing ever

"fuck this, i'm sorry jacob but i need shelia" mason says as he unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned over jacob to unlock the door and got out the car running to the beach

jacob quickly took off his seatbelt and got out the car, "your such a idiot mason, that's 4 miles to the beach" jacob shouts but it was too late, mason was determined to get to the beach now

present time

"mason what the hell, that's like 4 miles" she says shocked

"i did it for you, i couldn't leave without telling you something" mason says as he calms down

"i love you shelia, i know i may sound desperate but i still love you, i never forgot about us and i missed you every day" he says

"i want you" mason says softly getting closer to her

"i don't want you to want me, i want you to need me" shelia says

"i do need you" mason says as he pushes some of her hair behind her ear and slowly leans in as he presses his lips onto hers

the kiss wasn't long, but it was passionate, it meant everything to the both of them

they pull away to look at each other for a second as sheila smiles and pulls him back for another kiss as her arms find their way around his neck and his to her waist

they pull away as their foreheads press together, "i love you too mason, i never forgot about you either" shelia says with a smile

"still can't believe you ran that long for me" she says with a laugh

"i'll do anything just to be with you, i'll forever be yours" mason says as they both smile

all shelia ever wanted was him, no one else, just him, someone who really knew her, someone who loved her the way she was, someone who enjoyed small moments with her, there was only one person like that, and that was mason

even though they had some ups and downs and some things blocking their way, they still came together, them being forever
