Jesus loves you. He loves you, right here, right now. How bad have you been before? What's the worst you've seen of yourself? Jesus loved you then, still loves you now. He still loves you as much as He did before you were thought of by any human, as much as He did when you entered the world, and as much as He will when you leave it. He loves you at your best, and He's seen the worst that you can't even imagine coming from yourself, and I can promise you He still loves you. He loved you enough to die for you, with all your brokenness. Your sin. Your hate. Your rejection of Him and His words. He saw all that you would do, and yet He still took your sin and punishment on Himself in the hope that one day, you would accept His freedom.
You can do that now, if you'd like. You can do it later, although if you want to accept Him, doing it now would be best. Just come to Him. Accept Him for who He says He is: the Son of God, killed and risen from the dead on the third day. Able to cure your every wound and forgive your every sin. Ask Him to do that. While you may not get the healing instantly, you will get the forgiveness instantly. Declare Him as Lord of your life and grow in faith, because all He wants for you is the best that only He can see.
And that's it. There's no cleaning yourself up or changing anything, because now He can do that. Remember, He loves you so much, even at your worst. But our Lord isn't the kind to leave you as you are. He will heal you and change your heart for the better. Trust in Him, for He loves you.
