Spectacle of an Era
I'll admit I have a trouble or two
With these times we live in.
They don't care whether you breathe or die,
They just want to feed their soulless lives
Without knowing that they're blind,
So very busy, locked inside their minds,
And the world is still the same,
Two millenia in the making
Of a fathless kind that forgot his brother
So they killed each other
Until blood soaked the land
That used to shelter man.
And they lived by a promise
That was never made
Of the big man coming
To revert the spell
And destroy water, rivers, oceans,
Pulverize the mountains,
Finally stop the winds,
Separating wrong from right,
To create celestial light.
So forgive me if I'm blunt
But this shit is just fucked up.
