As usual, Y/n and Jungwon are on their way to school like every other day and even on weekends they stick together like a glue. No wonder why everyone in their school sees them as a couple even though Y/n denied it alot of times but Jungwon never bother to argue with rumors like that and act like he don't care but deep down he felt happy that everyone thinks they're couple. And no one would try to confess to Y/n.

"Wonnie, do you think I will receive atleast one gift today? I have a tiny hope" Y/n said in a defeat tone.

She never receive a gift on valentine's day before except from Yang Jungwon. Well to them, or just her, valentine's day is like her birthday since she always got gifts from her best friend without thinking in a romantic way. Because there's no way Jungwon, her best friend since childhood would like her and she's 99% sure of that. Ever since Jungwon understand the meaning of this day, every year he started to give some presents to her. Y/n who is dumb enough to receive and only thank him, don't really understand why he always give such nice things.

"What do you mean? You always received presents from me every year" Jungwon replied casually.

Deep down his mind is struggling to find out why is she unhappy. Is the presents not enough? A ton of chocolate boxes is not enough? Should he add some botique with perfume? Perhaps makeup? Well that's what he googled and already done it every year but still the love of his life can't be happy. Why?

First of all, Y/n never ask for that and even if she ask the boy to stop, he doesn't listen to her and just doubled the presents more and more. Surely the girl is desperate of receiving gifts but that doesn't mean from alot of people. She just want that person, that one boy who sit infront her, who give her umbrella without any regret on that day when it was raining, she want that boy to confess to her and ask her out on a date. But she and even God knows that it will never happen even after a millions years.

Y/n is just an average girl at their school and no one even like her and never receive a confession from someone. Unlike the girl, Jungwon is like the school crush. He's the ace at everything, good-looking with good personality, good grade and good at taekwondo, he can sing and dance too yet still he attend some of sports too. There's no need to wonder why girls and even some boys like him.

Y/n groaned before embracing Jungwon's arm tightly and leaned her head on his shoulder. It was so sudden that the boy stumbled abit but laughed it off at her cuteness. They are both clingy but again, not surprising why everyone thought they are couple.

It wasn't even lunch time, yet Jungwon is busy accepting gifts from many girls and few boys like every other year. Y/n who is sitting in her seat take few glances at her best friend, looking at what he got so that she could eat it later if she wants to, because Jungwon is such a kind hearted to her and would do anything for Y/n. She is his top priority.

The two best friends make eye contact and the boy let out a stifled laughed, such a big simp for her. Y/n let out a laugh awkwardly until the classroom door was opened by someone. Her eyes widen when she saw it was her crush, she wasn't able to take her eyes off looking at him. Everytime when she sees his face, she felt butterflies continuously. Cliche but true.

"Good morning Y/n" Park Sunghoon, the school ice prince and her dear crush, greet her.

"Oh wait- it's almost lunch time isn't? Haha... But then it's still morning right?" He chuckled.

Y/n stare at the handsome face, totally out of her mind. His voice is so angelic, especially when he called her name she felt like floating above the moon. She also take that as a chance to examine his face feature, she was so obvious that the boy started to felt uncomfortable and that's when her mind clicked.

"Umm..haha this is awkward,
Are you okay Y/n? Can you hear me?"

Sunghoon waved his hand right infront of her face. Y/n blinked twice and shook her head, she felt so embarassed that she suddenly stood up which make the boy infront of her to jumped back abit.

"Are you sure you're okay?
Should we go to the infirmary?"

Her crush asked again, worried abit for her. Y/n was flustered than ever, no words was came out from her mouth as her face turn red like a tomato. Every part of her body including her face started to heat out of embarrassment, and the way they both make eye contact. His worried gaze was so strong that she could felt it right through her soul.

Sunghoon take a step closer at her, slowly take his hand out of his pocket then touch her forehead, checking her temperature because she was so red and look sick. The boy hummed before moving his face closer to the girl. His perfume scent was visible and swears that she was about to passed out.

"I think you're sick, shou-"

"Then I'll take her to the infirmary"

Jungwon quickly pulled Y/n away from Sunghoon, he throw a glare at him before hold the girl hand and walk out of the classroom. Y/n called Jungwon a few times but his hearing was deaf by rage. After they both arrived at a quiet place he let her go.

Y/n hissed in pain and quickly caressed her wrist before glaring at her best friend.

"Jungwon are you crazy!?"

"C-crazy!? I just save your life!
Shouldn't you be thankful?"

The girl chuckled in aggression, she was so mad that her best friend is this stupid to understand what was going on. But she was more stupid that she didn't know Jungwon was jealous. Y/n let out a sighed to make her calm down before talking.

"I'm sorry Jungwon, I kept this myself for long time and didn't have the courage to tell you this"

"About what?"

Jungwon asked, looking at her with curiosity. Meanwhile, Y/n tried her best to ignore the strong gaze from her best friend. She cussed under her breathe and think for second. It's not like she can keep it secret forever so she think it's better tell him.

"You know Park Sunghoon right?"

"Yes, what about him?
Does he bother you?"

Jungwon asked with worried tone.

"N-no, Actually its that...
I like Park Sunghoon"

There was a dead silence. Y/n eyes roam around, searching for whatever to avoid the dark gaze from Jungwon. As for the boy, he don't even know what to say or do. He felt a painful pang in chest, the shattering of his heart was the loudest quiet ever.

"You can't like him"
