13; Plan all along

Li Xi Yue looked at Emperor's back coldly. That man was usually good to her, but he was definitely one of the cruellest people in Lian Dynasty. But it was ok, at least she got to secure her brother's title.

"Hong Ying, bring the medicine."
She looked at the colour of the medicine, gritted her teeth and finished it with one gulp. Then she gave back the bowl to Hong Ying, "Prepare food."

She looked at the plain porride stirred with chicken broth, with addition of some carrots and potatoes, and the pickled food cucumber on the side. "Yes, Junzhu?"

She looked at the plate, "can you tell the kitchen to prepare Mapo tofu?"

"but Junzhu, you are still sick..."

Li Xi Yue looked at Hong Ying, "then bring me some chili oil."

Chili oil usually contains pepper and a lot of additional seasonings, what she liked the most is how spicy that chilli oil was and how it made many food tasted so good to be true, it usually used as a dipping sauce for steamed buns or noodles.

"Your stomach can't digest it if you eat spicy foods now, Junzhu." Hong Ying said, "wait until three days, and Junzhu can eat as many spicy food as you can."

Li Xi Yue looked at Hong Ying then at the bland food in front of her, snorted and started to eat again. This is her mourning period she couldn't eat a lot of many food such as meats and sweets. She was a lazy person to be begin with, only loved to sleep, eat, read and repeated it without feel tired, but now in addition of mourning activities such as burning incense in the morning after she woke up, she must listened to Buddhist scripture, burned some paper moneys and prayed for her parents, now she must've review all of the accounts book of Wangfu in and out. Wangfu was just so big, she must've regulated the servants well, and also the businesses outside that thankfully, operated very well because she had a lot of subordinates that helped her, and also her mother's rich dowry.

And when she took out all of the account, she realized that it was definitely real, her mother's income was so rich she wonder why her mother must've feel sad after her father took another concubine, even if that concubine had son, her mother already gave birth to three children, two of her daughters were Junzhu in their own rights and her son was the Shizi, she had the power in Wangfu, and her dowry were extremely rich, even if Xian Wang wanted to divorced her, it was not like the Zhang family didn't want to take their daughter back, even Li Xi Yue could say that the Zhang family would be more happy to welcome their daughter and support her all her life, Wangfei Zhang had such a prestigious background, got loving family, yet still felt sad for a man?  Li Xi Yue felt like she was too young to understand this kind of complexity called men and women's relationship.

After she ate such a bland meal, she lied down to rest, if it was not for the scheme to got her brother his title back, she would be unwilling to did this kind of tiring things.
