Rey and Sergio come from Natlan, as the nation of the pyro archon hasn't been released yet, most details about it are made up and inspired by what little I could get from the prologue of the manga and the wiki site.
That being said, I've also chosen Spanish as their native language so you'll find that sprinkled in. Spanish isn't my first language so it will not be perfect, if there are any native speakers reading, I would love your comments about where I need improvement!
Additionally, the traveler is Aether as I feel Abyss Princess Lumine fits the plot more and I just love a good girlboss villain. This does mean that not everything will be strictly cannon too, especially later on.
This starts right before Aether goes to Liyue Harbor to view the Rite of Descension but it is mentioned that he's traveled in Liyue before, this is because he traveled there while waiting for Diluc to gather more Intel in the third act of the prologue archon quest "Song of the Dragon and Freedom"
