Watching Eloise eat was festinating, the more I looked at her the more she squirmed under my gaze.

She really was a virgin, she could hardly look me in the eye even after everything we've done together not a few hours ago, but then again, I never expected myself to be her first, she's so beautiful I had assumed she was of experience.

She really was too innocent; she couldn't look me in the eye for longer than three seconds...

"How is your breakfast?" I ask, as she takes a bite into a piece of dry toast with butter. "Are you sure that's enough?"

"I have chefs in the kitchen that will make you something you desire."

"This is fine." She mumbles shyly, wiping the corner of her mouth. "I don't really eat breakfast... so this is more than enough."

I wanted to ask her why, but she looked away again and focused on something else in the room, not for the first time since I had carried her all the way down here.

She was too light, she needed to eat more and watching her nibble on toast that was made fifteen minutes ago was starting to really irritate me that she wasn't looking after herself properly.

"Are you not eating?" She asks, looking at me curiously.

"I already ate when you were sleeping." I lied, not wanting to seem like a hypocrite for not eating.

"Oh."

A silence filled the room, and I could tell as seconds pass, she was becoming uncomfortable with just me in the room, I didn't know what to say at this point as every time I had tried to speak to her, she would not look at me, or answer with small responses.

Was this it?

Is it over, just like that?

I had to wonder now if she only wanted me to be her first for the experience, she doesn't seem to be interested in me at all, unlike last night where she couldn't keep her hands off me.

A knock at the door pulls me from my tedious thoughts. "Come in." I say, my eyes still on Eloise as she finishes the last slice of her toast.

Lenard steps into the room and bows before his eyes go to Eloise, who looks rather to see who came inside, I watched how she reacted to everything she saw and everyone she saw inside my manor, and so far, I could tell she felt out of place.

"What is it?" I ask Lenard, knowing already that I had no appointments today as it was a weekend.

"Sir, Mr. Douchont is on line 1, he seemed rather anxious to get a hold of you." He said, making me sigh.

What did Liam want now? He had left me as soon as we arrived at the fundraiser venue last night and I had not seen him since, and whenever he would ring, it was never important.

"Tell him I'm busy."

"If anyone else rings, I'm not here." I add, not wanting to be disturbed today.

"Yes sir." He said, before leaving the dining area and closing the doors behind him.

My eyes went back to Eloise, who has been suspiciously quiet this entire time, and it's starting to not worry me, but get me anxious if it is something I have done or said to upset her enough to be this silent.

"What is bothering you?" I get up from my seat, opposite Eloise and reach for the seat next to her.

Once on the seat next to her, I pull her chair out so she could face me, it's only then when I put my hand in hers her bottom lip starts to tremble, and her eyes start to fill with tears.
