Touching down at London Heathrow at early hours in the morning felt bizarre, like someone else was in control of my body.

Who knew that my first time on a plane would be to some place me and my mother had always wanted to visit, only now it's all messed up, and the reason I'm here is because I had nowhere else to go.

Two months ago, I found out who my dad was, my mum never spoke about him after he basically knocked her up and then left her to deal with a baby by herself because he had a family in London.

He had a family so important that news of a child born in an affair could 'ruin' his perfect life, and his perfect job which was a bigger shock then finding out who he was.

William Ruthenvolt.

He was the current Prime Minister of England and a very rich and powerful man, but of-course at first, I thought it was all lies and this man on the phone telling me he was my dad was just playing a prank on me.

Two months ago, he calls me, tells me he wants to get to know me, four months after I bury my mum, he says that to me... I didn't know how to feel or react, I felt even more sad for some reason.

So here I was, in London at 5 AM in the morning with a limo waiting outside for me with the man himself, who called himself 'father'.

It was my first time meeting him, or even seeing him, sure I've seen him on the news in America once or twice, but I never would've thought he was related to me, so I never paid attention when he was on TV.

"Eloise..." William smiled warming at me, dressed in an expensive suit and standing next to an expensive car.

I didn't know what to do, did I hug him or simply just say hello?

"Uh, William Ruthenvolt?" I ask, to be sure and he nods his head, smiling again.

He looks happy to see me, and all I want to do is go back on the plane and hide away from the stares of people that are now looking our way in curiosity.

"That's me, in the flesh."

"Your bags- shall I?" He hints to my suitcase, and I didn't have a chance to respond as the driver of the limo took my bag and then put it in the back of the limo.

I was out of my depth here, this guy was clearly living in another world compared to mine where we lived paycheck to paycheck, and something tells me I was going to be uncomfortable a lot during my time here.

William held the door open for me and gestured for me to 'hop in' so I did, and once inside that's when I see the inside was as impressive as the outside, this was all so new to me, I felt out of place.

"Now I have made a room specially for you, if you need anything let Martha Collen know, she's a gem of a housekeeper, she'll look after every one of your needs." William starts to say, making me look at him awkwardly.

"How was your flight by the way? No troubles?" He asks and I shake my head.

I didn't know how to talk to him, even if he was my dad, I felt totally uncomfortable sitting next to someone who was also supposedly running a country.

"I know this is a shock Eloise, but I do hope we get to know one another better." William said beside me, a sad smile on his face.

"Um, me too."

He had put his hand over mine and it was such a strange thing that I didn't know what to do but nod my head, it was hard to talk to him, I was still coming to terms with what was going on.

Everything felt so rushed, I felt dizzy and unable to think.

The rest of the drive was quiet, William had eventually put the radio on where we listened to the news until we reached his house in the country, and he said it was a house, but it was more like a giant mansion.
