-"Don't leave me!"

-"Gosh Liv, stop whining, you're an adult now! Plus it's not like you're going to be all alone, I don't live more than three blocks away so it won't be too hard to adapt."

-"You're no fun."

-"I'm not supposed to, mom just asked me to help you move in, I'm already working extra staying here."

*Asshole*

-"Fine, then just leave me there all by myself, it's alright I'm an adult now, and I can manage."

-"As you wish, have a good day sis'! "

And that is how he left me alone in that new apartment. It wasn't that spacious, but for a flat in London, I sure won't complain. My bed hasn't yet arrived, but I can always sleep on the couch tonight. I have a small open kitchen linked to the living room, but it still seems cold. Therefore, I decided to put on my Mamma Mia playlist and start unpacking - well at least I try to, because singing along and dancing to the songs take much more energy than actually unpacking.

I decided to begin with the kitchen. I love cooking good meals, both healthy and that taste good. That is why I packed flavorings like nutmeg or paprika. I write in my notes to buy containers so that my kitchen remains tidy. What can I say? The new school year, the new me! Of course, I know these good intentions are not likely to last more than a week, but what can I say? At least I try!

It does feel weird to be in this new place and refer to it as 'my' apartment. But I will start studying soon, so I might as well adapt to life in London. Thank god I have some friends here, as well as my brother, so meeting new people won't be a problem. But I'm not in the mood of going out tonight. I think it is best to first get the place ready before doing anything crazy.

I look at my new apartment and decide to go shopping tomorrow, in order to buy some decorations. I did pack a lot of things, but apart from pictures with my friends and family, there is not much to make the place feel like home.

I add to the new list to buy some candles, a plant, and flowers in order to make the flat look more 'alive'. Then I look around me, thinking about what could be missing, apart from the furniture I know is coming tomorrow. I decide to buy a pretty vase and a fruit basket I will put in the kitchen.

After a good hour of unpacking, I decided that I am hungry. The issue is I haven't even had time to go do some shopping, and it seems already quite late. So I decided for once to order sushi, which could pass as a celebration meal for my new apartment. The few pieces of furniture here are the couch and a small table so I decided to turn on my computer and look for something to watch while eating.

I go brush my teeth and take a shower, in order to finish the movie having nothing left to do.

Sure value, I decided to watch a Star Wars movie, but the moving had tired me so much that I ended up falling asleep in front of the movie even if I don't ever do that - even less during Star Wars.

Hi! I'm sorry this is such a short chapter, I just wanted to lay the foundation so you understand more where the story begins...

Thank you for choosing my story! Feel free to comment anytime you want, I would love to read your thoughts!

Also, English is not my mother language, so there may be some mistakes in the grammar or in sentences, or even in the British school world (even if I make some research), so please tell me if you see anything, so that I can correct those mistakes!

I will try to publish at least one chapter every week (every Sunday). But if I find enough time to write others, I probably will be on Fridays or on Wednesdays.
