A few hours had passed and I've gotten belle to open up more. Shes 8 years old, favorite color blue, Her dad works and her mom stays home with her and her little sister, and she has a bunny named topper. Talking about normal things seemed to ease the situation slightly.
I need to figure out how this happened. How is this bus not full of water? What is going on?! Looking around us theres barely anybody else awake. Its shocking, it's been two hours already. Suddenly another small groan. Belles head shot up, I step out into the bus aisle first allowing belle to follow behind me. I approached where the noise escaped and saw another little girl, I'd guess around the same age or younger, belle's face lights up with excitement as the younger girl opens her eyes. "Belle..." the young girl spoke. Belles eyes swarmed with tears as she ran and hugged the young girl. "I was hoping you'd awaken soon little sis" Belle spoke out, sniffling between words.
I sat there happy for them happy they are together again. A few hours go by and No one has moved a single budge. Belle and her little sister Nia sit in the back of the bus, huddled together trying to keep warmth in the cold bus. I need to do something, but what? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN! The bus driver hung over the steering wheel, I approached her corpse slowly, scared to look It in the face. I stand infront of her, the person who got us here. I Began by looking through her pockets for things that can help. I found a pack of gum, I slipped in my pocket, a mini dental floss they give you after the visits. And the final thing I took, a small pocket knife. I took all the items back to my backpack and sat them down on the seat, before I slowly went to every kid checking for a pulse, nothing. I sigh feeling defeated, I look at the two girls cold as can be in that back seat, we need to live, they need to live. Nine children vary in age sat dead on the bus, I went to every kid taking their winter coats, Of them all I take the biggest one belonging to a teenager and cover the two little girls up, we have nothing right now. I need to search for something to live off of. And so I did.
