Danger On The Track

Chapter 1

It was just a regular day for Knock Out, He got up had some Energon then went to work at the hospital in Iacon.

Upon arriving he was greeted by his friend and fellow medic Ratchet.

"Hey Ratchet anything interesting going on today?" Knock Out asked trying to make small talk since their shifts hadn't started yet.

"Bumblebee called and said he wants to see you about helping on a mission." Ratchet replied. "If you wanna go ahead and see them I can take over your shift for you because the way Bumblebee spoke it sounded like something important."

"Ok I'll go to Bumblebee and see what it's all about and how I can help." Knock Out agreed. "Thanks Ratchet."

"Your welcome." The older medic told him.

"Hi there." Swindle who had just entered the hospital spoke to the two medics. "Boy do I have a great deal for you guys."

Then Swindle took out a box that he started removing several different medical tools from.

"Hey haven't I seen this before?" Knock Out asked holding up a bottle of corrostop. "It looks exactly like the one I saw in the medicine cabinet yesterday that suddenly disappeared when I passed the cabinet again before clocking out last night."

"Yeah First Aid called me because he couldn't find it and I ended up having to bring him one from my medkit." Ratchet agreed.

"And that looks suspiciously like the laser scalpel that went messing from my office." Knock Out then pointed out.

"And is that one of my wrenches?" Ratchet questioned.

"Quite a coincidence." Swindle said before chuckling nervously.

"Do you wanna call Prowl or should I?" Knock Out asked Ratchet.

"Bye guys." Swindle told them before bolting out the door and leaving all the equipment behind.

Ratchet and Knock Out then went through everything in the box where they also found a sonic screwdriver, a box of wax, and a spare buffer Knock Out kept in his office to use during breaks.

Then the two medic went around the hospital and put everything back and checked to make sure nothing else had been taken and were satisfied to find everything in it's place, And both vowed to get better security.

Then Knock Out said goodbye to Ratchet before going to meet Bumblebee who was at the Macadam's.

About an hour later Knock Out pulled up at Macadam's and transformed from his alt mode back to his bot mode and entered the oil house.

"Hi Knock Out." Bumblebee greeted the Austin Martin.

"Hey Bumblebee good to see you, And hi Smokescreen." Knock Out replied to Bumblebee and greeted Smokescreen who was also there.

"Hey Knock Out." Smokescreen answered him.

"So what's the mission you need my help with?" Knock Out asked them.

"There's trouble on Velocitron some of the racers have been receiving threats and there are strange accidents that we think might be sabotage." Bumblebee explained.

"And for some reason most of the winners keep disappearing so Optimus Prime asked us to go investigate what's going on, So we're going under cover as racers and since your from Velocitron we thought you might be able to help us out." Smokescreen added.

"I would be happy to help, It would be nice to see my home planet again and I love a good race so count me in." Knock Out agreed then called the hospital and arranged for First Aid to fill in for him until the mission was over.

Then Bumblebee called Starscream who having now turned himself around was also helping them by spying on the Decepticons in Kaon to find out if any of them were involved in what was happening on Velocitron.

Because since Starscream hadn't officially joined the Autobots he was the perfect spy.

"Hi Screamer." Knock Out said to his friend over the com-link after Knock Out and Smokescreen had join the call with their own com-links.

"Hello Knock Out nice to hear from you." Starscream told his friend, The two had made up after Starscream came out of his coma.

"I'm helping out with the mission by joining the race with these two." Knock Out explained.

"That's great if I manage to find out any useful info I'll call and tell you guys." The seeker promised because they heard a loud crash on his end.

"BY THE ALLSPARK!" They heard Starscream cry out.

"Starscream are you ok?!" They all three asked at once.

"Why did you drive off the roof you moron your a car not a jet!" They heard Starscream telling off someone on the other end of the call.

"Sorry about that a vehicon decided to be a daredevil and ramp his car alt mode off the roof their taking him to the hospital because he hit his helm and thinks he's a seeker now, But I heard a medic who was leading him out say he'll be fine." Starscream explained.

Then they ended the call and left to take the space bridge to Velocitron, Knock Out was excited to be going back to his home planet remembering all the awesome tracks there and couldn't wait to show Bumblebee and Smokescreen around.

Meanwhile Starscream had entered the Decepticon bar he had been standing outside of and took a seat and the bar tender offered him an energon drink of high grade.

"No thanks I'm just waiting for someone." Starscream lied not wanting to get drunk and had really just come there to listen to what the other cons in the bar were talking to each other about trying to get information.

When suddenly his com-link went off.

"Hello?" The seeker answered.

"Hello Starscream I heard your helping the Autobots and want to make sure your not planning to betray them." Megatron's voice came over the other end.

"No I've changed and I'll never betray them, My days of treachery are over." Starscream replied making sure to keep his voice low so no one would overhear, But looked around and saw they weren't paying attention anyway.

"Then your definitely going to screw it up or let them down somehow that's the only thing your good for, And with your track record I know you probably have a hidden agenda and I'm going to tell the Autobots not to trust you." Megatron hissed then hung up before the seeker could reply.

"Wow did he just call to insult me?" Starscream thought to himself. "But the sad thing is he's right I am only good at messing up, He's wrong about my having an agenda or planning to betray them but he's right about me always screwing things up."

"And I'm afraid that after everything I've done they'll always suspect me of having a hidden motive or planning to turn on them." The seeker finished his thought and let his wings drop.

"Hey bar tender I'll take that drink now." Starscream said then was handed the cube of high grade.
