Chapter 5

Eve's PoV

As soon as I arrived I got more and more nervous as soon as I knocked on the door I see axes "mate" my wolf growled at the thought she looked looked down at me and said
"oh ur the new maid well u can start cleaning and stay away from the alpha he doesn't want you u are pathetic " I feel my eyes start to well up I push back my tears and walk past her she let gasp I didn't care tho i started walking through the house trying to find axe, As I was trying to find axe I made my way into the kitchen I heard a voice behind me say "what are you doing" I looked up in shock to see alpha axel "oh sorry alpha I was trying to find axe I just got here a little while ago " I left out the part about the girl who answered the door "oh he's at pack training he should be done soon" I just nod and sit in awkward silence, just then Mia walks in crying "the maid pushed me she should be punished" I can't believe she's lying to the alpha "it's okay Mia come on I will make sure to tell axe about this I am sure she will get what's coming" I was shocked he was taking her side 'I can't believe her what if axe believes her as well will he reject me' I thought to my self my wolf growled 'no mate won't hurt us' 'I hope ur right' I sigh the alpha looked like he was mind linking someone 5 minutes later axe walks in "what seem's to be the problem" he said "s-she pushed me" Mia responded "is this true eve" I can't believe he even asked that "ofc not" I growled angry at him

Axe's PoV

I was training the pack when my dad mind linked me 'son come here there's been a problem' I wondered what the problem was when I got in the kitchen there was mia crying and my mate siting on the bench "what seems to be the problem" I asked annoyed "s-she pushed me" I didn't know if she was telling the truth "is this true eve" I asked her she looked angry and sad when I did but I had to ask I hope I don't regret it she growled at me and said ofc not honestly I was so confused who to believe my packmate or my mate 'who do you thinks telling the truth' I asked my wolf 'mate is telling the truth Mia is lying' he growled at me "she's lying she did push me" Mia cried more I couldn't think I was tired "just stop I am going to bed come on eve I will show you ur room i am too tired for this" I growled at both of them eve whimpered I let out a sigh and walked up the stairs to show eve her room "I will give you a tour of the house tomorrow" i said to eve "o-okay goodnight" she replied "goodnight" I responded and walked to my room.

———Later that night———

Eve's pov/nightmare

I was running in a field there was different type of flower's everywhere just then a black wolf attacked me I didn't recognise them I was so scared "w-who a-are you" I asked scared the wolf growled "w-what d-do you want" I asked the wolf just attacked me I was so scared I was going to die no no I can't die "PLZ STOP DONT KILL ME WHAT DO YOU WANT WHO ARE YOU" i screamed the wolfs eye's where black suddenly everything went black and gray did I die no no I could not have "WHERE AM I WHATS GOING ON" I woke up screaming I was so scared then someone started talking "shhh it's okay what's wrong what happened?" I see it's axe and I hugged him tightly "I-I h-had a-a nightmare" I cried in his chest "what was ur nightmare about" he asked me "I-I w-was I-in a f-field an-and i um w-was running an-and a black w-wolf with red eyes c-came and tried to kill me i-I was s-so scared" i said hugging him tighter as he rubbed my back "shh it's okay go back to sleep I will be here okay baby" I nodded and cuddled in his chest and went back to sleep

————the next day————
Axe's PoV

I woke up to my mate in my arm's she looked so peaceful it was 6 in the morning when eve screamed I thought something bad happened to her I wonder if she has nightmares often with that thought I got up and got ready for the day it was now 7:30 "eve wake up" I tried waking up eve "go away" she said sleepy "come on wake up for breakfast it's already 7:30" I responded "fineee" she huffed and got up and went to get ready for the day then we went down for breakfast witch was pancakes, "so about last night do you normally have nightmares" I asked as she ate her pancakes "em I only get them sometimes" I nodded, once we where done breakfast she took our plate's and put them in the sink and started washing them "you know you don't have to do that" i said to her "I know I want too" she replied, once she was done "come on we are going to be late for pack training" i said to her she nodded and followed me.

———after pack training———

After pack training I was in the kitchen my dad walked in "son I need to speak to you about your mate" my dad said "what about my mate" I responded "well did you talk to her about pushing Mia she can't just push people and you know that I want you too talk to her" my wolf hunter growled I just ignored my wolf and pushed him to the back of my mind "yes dad I will" i reasoned even tho I am pretty sure Mia was lying but I will have to ask eve what happened, I went to go talk to eve she was watching tv with the beta "eve I need to talk to you" I said to her

Eve's PoV

After pack training I accidentally bumped in too the beta "I-I am sorry" i said he nodded "it's okay we are about to watch a film you want to watch" he asked I nodded and we made our way to the living room I still never know where everything was I need to ask axe for a tour I might get lost if I don't, we where watching tv and then axe walked in "eve I need to talk to you" he said "okay" I said and nodded I followed axe to his room "so what you want to talk about" I asked kind of nervous "well I want to talk about what happened with you and Mia yesterday" he responded "okay what you want to know" I asked "did you push her" he asked me "no I didn't that's not what happened" i said "what happened then and don't leave anything out" he replied "well when I arrived at the pack I knocked on the door and Mia was there she said that i was pathetic and you didn't want me so I ignored her and went to find you but I bumped in to alpha axel and then she came in crying" I responded to him as a tear fell down my face, "I believe you plz don't cry of course I want you, your my mate" I nodded and hugged him, we stayed like that for a while longer enjoying the peace and quiet

Axel's PoV

I hope my son talked to her I don't want to have problems I don't trust that omega even if she is axe's mate she is still an omega but ruth thinks otherwise, "hi honey dinner is ready can you tell the kids for me" I was cut off from my thoughts when my wife came in "of course I will mind link them now" I responded 'come get food and axe tell ur mate to come down as well' I mind linked Mia and axe.

Axe's PoV

A little while went by I wonder why my dad dose not like my mate so much I will have to ask him either way I am not leaving her 'come get food and axe tell ur to come down as well' I was cut off from my thoughts when my dad mind linked me 'okay dad' I responded to him, I looked down at my mate who was sleeping she looked so peaceful "eve baby come on it's dinner time we got to go eat" I told her softly "5 more minutes" she mumbled hugging me tightly I sigh "no no it's dinner time come on before all the foods gone" i said she mumbled a small okay and got up, we went down stairs and there was the beta and there was Mia and my mom and dad all talking about something but all went quiet when we walked in, once we got our food we started eating "so axe did you talk to eve about pushing Mia" my dad asked "yes and it won't happen again" i responded "I hope so" "is she not going to say sorry" mia said angrily eve whimpered a small sorry "good you should be I could have you kicked out of here for pushing me" I growled at Mia "no you can't my mate stays if anyone gose it's you" she's not my mate I don't know why she thinks that but she's not and never will be "whatever" she huffed, "I am going to go to bed now goodnight everyone" eve said waving goodnight "goodnight" everyone responded, soon after I got up and went to bed.
