Seeing Curious Light for the first time... Well, it was an interesting experience.
Ever since Screech was told by Rush and Ambush about The Rooms, it was all he would think about. The A-000 Trio, consisting of A-60, A-90, and A-120, was interesting. (Two of them acted like the tag-team duo, his storytellers.) But Curious was what piqued his interest the most. They acted so much like Guiding; why wouldn't he be intrigued?
He recalled spending literal hours in his room, drawing and coming up with ideas on what Curi would act and look like.
What Screech had thought of... wasn't what he had seen now, but that didn't matter! Curious felt like a good person (light? spirit?), and he didn't care what Seek thought of it.
Walking down the hallway, excited thoughts were running wild in Screech's mind. Thoughts like, I can't believe this is actually happening! and Is his a friend-making opportunity? and Would they enjoy my company? Or me as a whole?
"Wait, stop here," Screech told Curious, stopping his chaotic train of thought.
The two had stopped in front of Screech's room's door, which was sprinkled with small stickers Eyes and Halt helped him make.
"Is... this your room...?" the golden spirit asked, gazing at the door absent-mindedly.
"Yep! If you couldn't tell already," Screech answered, motioning to his door. "Y'know, maybe it needs a sign or something... I'll have to ask Rush later."
Curious shifted their attention to the small, black entity. "What was that?"
"Oh, nothing. Just me thinking out loud again." Screech giggled excitedly. "Now, come on, let's go!" He pulled open the door, letting Curi walk in first.
Screech's room was set up like a child's — except more monotone in color. The lights were dimmed to a dark level, but not too dark to the point where you couldn't see; multiple small gray-and-white shelves were built up on the walls and floor, filled with things like art supplies and pictures; some of Screech's artwork was hung up on the walls (one of his proudest works was the one with Rush, Ambush, Eyes, and Halt playing Uno), framed in dark-colored wood.
On the floor, two dark gray bean bags were sitting in the top right corner; a chalkboard was imputed into the wall; the wall itself was a light blue-gray with a white trim at the bottom; and the floor was colored silver gray.
Entering Screech's area, the golden spirit glowed like a Flashlight in a Dark Room. They were... touching the wall for some reason? Wait, isn't that where the light switch is—
"WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! Don't touch the—"
FLICK! Curious turned the lights on, in spite of Screech's warnings.
Screech screamed, frantic and high-pitched. The light hurt so bad. He could barely look at it. He quickly flew to the wall where Curi was near, and dimmed the lights to his preferred level.
"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh..." Screech mumbled, sighing.
"Sorry... I was just... wondering, Screech..." Curious apologized, looking off to the side.
Screech shook himself. "Nevermind that!" he exclaimed. "Here, sit down." He motioned to a bean bag.
Curious accepted his offer (kinda hesitant, Screech noticed), and sat down carefully, eyes gazing around Screech's room.
Screech went over to his small shelves in the top left corner. He brought out a 12-pack of chalk, giving a yellow piece to Curi, and taking a white piece for himself.
