It was the weekend, and every Saturday Colten and I do something. It's a tradition.
So basically, this Saturday is going to be filled with excitement for Colten. I, the worlds greatest advice giver is telling him how to ask Julianna out.
If I was a guy, I would be the best boyfriend ever.
Ever.
I have so many cute ideas up my sleeve. Like I literally could pull a million of ideas out at a time.
Its crazy, I know.
Anyways, we sit outside Walmart, myself waiting for Colten to see how much money he had. I watched him carefully as he stood there shuffling his money back and forth in his hands.
"Okay cool I have 58 bucks," He nudges my arm and gives me the look. And as I say the look, I mean 'what are we doing next'.
I don't say anything, I just move my finger to follow me, and he does. We head inside and right away I start walking fast to the craft section, where I plan to make Colten buy a big poster board of paper.
"What's her favorite color?" I ask looking at the verity of colors. He bends down next to me scratching his chin.
"Ummm..... This," He points at a light blue color. I mentally thanking Julianna for liking that color because everything will show up good on it.
I pick it out and shove it at Colten to carry it. He groans and gives me the 'wtf' fasce.
"She's your girl not mine," I say rudely while grabbing a two pack of black sharpies and then some colored paper. I didn't bother grabbing more sharpies and markers, and glitter glue and so forth because I knee I had some and Coltens little sister had some.
"We are gonna get Crafty, Colten."
He makes a dorky face and makes a fake giggle.
"I'm gonna be a crafty Colten!"
Busting a gut, I draw attention to both of us in the store. It didn't really matter either because it happens every time we are shopping together.
"Okay CC let's go to the candy section and get her like some-- OH MY GOD I AM SO SMART!" I basically throw everything on Colten and run as fast as I can to the Candy aisle. Having the greatest idea, I really wish I was this girl.
Soon I see Colten come around the corner loaded with our stuff. He flips me the bird jokingly.
"Thanks babe," I wink grabbing some Skittles, Sour patch Kids, Dark Chocolate, Sweedish Fish and other amazing candies.
"Okay, so all we have to get is some like stick thingys and flowers... And we should be good," I look at Colten and he nods just going with the flow. Without me he would be lost.

Gluing the last piece of paper on, I stood back and looked at my creation satisfied.
It was a big poster board paper and I made it look like it was a puzzle. In the middle I didn't draw a few pieces and left it blank.
Then I took Alphabet lettering and spelt out,
'It looks like I'm missing my last puzzle piece.... Will you fill it and be mine?' And of course I made it all pretty a sparkly.
"Wow.... Kiley... That is so fucking cool, thank you so much. Do you think she will say yes?" Coltens eyes meet mine and from this point in my life I noticed how hazel brown his eyes were. And they were gorgeous.
Snapping my self out of my trance I smiled, "Thanks, I know it is and of course she will. You are like the sweetest boy alive," Even if Colten was a known player, or a guy to date all the ladies, he was a sweetheart. Like his father, Clay.
"Good. And this flower thing with the candy sticking out in area's is great as fuck, like I wish I was her," He walks up to me and hugs me tight. And for the second time today his hug was different then his others.
It was filled with something different.
And my heart fell because of it.

I watch Kiley knock on Julianna's door, then quickly run away into the bushes so I could be the only one there. I would of done it myself but my hands are full.
My heart was pounding... Not because I was nervous, but it just was.... Ever since I did hug Kiley. Something different came upon me and it was weird.
Pushing that thought out of my way, I heard the door handle moving and then a beautiful girl appearsd in front of me.
Julianna's facial expression was probably the best thing I have ever seen in the world. Her eyes were wide and her mouth hung to the ground.
"So, Julianna will you be my girlfriend?" I ask shaking the flowers and candy in my hands back and forth and the sign.
She covers her mouth with her hand and shakes her head up and down.
"Of course I will Colten," She says, and runs towards my full arms. I set the stuff down on the walk way and wrap her in my arms. Its weird because I didn't get that same feeling Kiley gave me.

****LETS JUST TAKE A SECOND ^^^****
Colten walked in the house. It was 12 in the morning, also known as his cerfew. He had a smile on his face, but I knew it wasn't a real smile.
"So Kiley told me all about your girly friend," Being his dad and all I had to give him crap. And I also needed to know how he felt about this girl. At his Age I was already in love with a beautiful girl known as my Wife, Audrey.
Colten sits down next to me on the couch. And smirks.
"Well, this might sound weird dad.... And plese don't say anything to nobody." He looks me in the eye. I knew it was something serious because of his facial expression.
"Of course Cole, Just between you and me."
He nods and proceeds talking.
"Kiley helped me with my little thing, like how I was asking Julianna out and stuff, and well like afterwards the poster looked so amazing I gave her a hug," He stops and looks up at me. "When we hugged dad... It was different.... A good different."
As he said that, I felt the urge to tell Audrey. Secretly, her and I are the coolest parents around and we ship people... Have our otp's and basically we ship our own son with our good friends daughter.

I tried my hardest to hide in my smile. For the longest time I wanted to have this talk with him. The talk that he was falling for his best friend.
"They were butterflies weren't they? I remember meeting your mother for the first time," Like most kids they would groan... But my son didn't. He loved these stories. "She was beautiful.... She still is. I also remember hugging her for the first time. And it was just a moment in time where you didn't want to stop it."
"Colten, I'm not saying you made the wrong decision with Julianna.... She seems like a nice girl. But Just remember son... You know when its true love. " I pause, resting my hand on his shoulder. " I knew when it was true love. Let me just say love is incredible. Don't waste it. Use your love wisley. What all I am going to say... Be with a girl that you aren't going to question yourself if you are ever going to stop loving her."
Be with Kiley... I wanted to say. But I knew that was pushing it.
