Maya & Violet Expectations

" Hi my name is Maya Valentina, and I'm an under cover spy for the  undercover corporation of CPS Diamond Crown.

I started my training at the age of five and worked my way up to being the best at what I do by making sure I didn't make excuses for anything or anyone.

I grew up around a lot of strong and intelligent men. There were only about four women in this field and now I'm the last one standing. The only reason why I'm still alive today  is because I follow the rules and I'm always seven steps ahead of everyone, because you can never be to careful.

More or less I always had high expectations for this up coming year now that I'm old enough to become one of the first women in five years to be a  Commander of High Chief.  I would also be the youngest to achieve this title. The only way I was going to be able to achieve this high rank is by completing my 100th mission which was this following year but,

let's just get one thing straight. I didn't expect my life to go from being one of the best under cover spies in my field to almost getting myself and my target killed an less than one month. Also I didn't choose this mission it choose me.

When I graduated high school I never felt more free and happy. I was able to travel half the world due to missions I got to go on and choose myself, but what I didn't see coming was a new CEOS Director. When I made it to the meeting room my father named Frost was setting in the CEOS Director's chair.

Our old CEOS Director Mr. Foxx told us all that he would be retiring last week, but none of us believed him because he would say that almost every other week.

" All right listen up everybody, I know most of you know me as Chief Frost, but moving on forward I will be the new CEOS Director.

Today is going to be short for some and long for others. Now that I see that everyone is here, it is that time of year again. We all need to go on a year long assigned mission. This year I will be choosing your missions, and if any of you have a problem with your assigned mission please come to me and I will see what I can do to help you feel more comfortable. Okay everyone this meeting is adjourned he said after some of his partners pass out mission files to new and old undercover spys. 

When my father made his way over to me to give me my file he told me that this one is more important than the others. I knew what he was really trying to say to me. I had to make sure no page was left unread or turned.

When I open my file and started reading on who my target was to be this time. Without knowing the exceptions of my father I almost wanted to tell my dad he was out of his mind for picking me to do this job. What did I look like to him a babysitter?

I walk over to my father with my arms crossed to my chest. I cleared my throat so that he would know that I was right behind him.

When he turned around he asked me why I looked so down?

" What is this, I questioned raising one my eyebrows up"?

It's your mission.

" No, this right here is a babysitting job."
I've worked and trained harder than most of these guys in this room and your telling me that this is what I get?

" Maya I know that your use to choosing your own missions, but I'm the new CEOS Director now and I'm giving you the mission that has been handed down to three other undercover spys and none of them have returned back alive.

I know that you can complete this mission with flying colors mija. Plus I have given you this assignment, because I know you will follow all the rules and won't catch feelings for your target unlike Marcus over here.

" Hey It only happened one time boss.

Yes, and that one time almost got you killed and kicked out of this agency Frost said.

"Maya I want you to meet your partner Marcus. He will be going to school with you while you will be protecting and getting very close to Violet. Become someone that she can trust so that you can get her to confess her step father's Mafia drug dealing business.

" Now both of you will be leaving this building less than 24 hours. So get ready to leave and fly up to New York city my dad said before walking away from us .

" Hey I'm Marcus, and it's an honor to be working with you Maya. I've heard about your last mission and I can't believe you took out 30 men an less than 15 minutes. Plus you even caught the master mind behind the 48 robberies up north.

" Marcus is it? Let's just get one thing straight aright. If we are going to work together you are going to have to listen to me very carefully and follow all the rules because if you don't we both are going to die. You got it?

Yes ma'am I hear you loud and clear. So what time are we going to leave?

We are going leave here less than 20 minutes, so pack only the things that you need. Meaning pack up lightweight bags because where we are going couts more than my paycheck and I get paid more than you do.

When I made it to my room I didn't waste any time on packing up the things I needed. With the time I had left I reread the file and stopped at the photo on bottom of the last page.

Voliet is a pretty young lady I thought to myself, but it doesn't seem like she knows about her step father's Mafia drug dealing business because of how innocent she looks. it's hard to tell. Protecting her should be easy enough i thought to myself.

When I made it over to my jeep truck I noticed something was off. Somebody scratched the back of my jeep truck.

Out of nowhere Marcus up telling me that he apologizes for scratching my car.

" Hey I'll pay you for the damages when I get paid he said.

I rolled my eyes and unlocked my jeep truck. Hurry up I don't want to be late for our flight I said while bulking up my seat belt. When he got settled in we where on our way to the airport.
