As Mrs. Ophiuchus ran in the hallways while holding her gown, she requested the butlers to get her the keys to Alyssa's quarters. As the butlers held onto the keys, Mrs. Ophiuchus held onto them with trembling fingers and in a panicked manner.
"Lady Ophiuchus, let me help you," the butler offered, and Mrs. Ophiuchus gave up and gave the keys to the butler. Once the door was opened, Mrs. Ophiuchus rushed to her youngest daughter's side and touched her forehead. She was indeed burning!
"Call the nurses please!" Mrs. Ophiuchus demanded and tucked Alyssa in, her breathing was heavy, her body was scorching, and she was sweating heavily. Three nurses came in and tended to care for Alyssa, the family doctor also came in.
"What happened, how did this come to be?" The doctor questioned but Mrs. Ophiuchus didn't know how to explain it to him. She didn't want this to be a huge problem even though it already was back then.
"It was a busy night and she's exhausted, she needs rest," Mrs. Ophiuchus calmly said, it was a lie but she didn't want any of the staff to know before her children do. Additionally, she wasn't ready to see their reactions to the news she'd bring.
"Alright then, you need to rest as well Lady Ophiuchus, we will be monitoring her twenty-four-seven and update you daily, good night Lady Ophiuchus," the doctor said, and Mrs. Ophiuchus was relieved a bit and left. She went back to her quarters and felt empty, she looked around and her eyes landed on the empty bedroom across hers. It belonged to Alastor when they were newly wedded. She always felt that way whenever she came into her quarters and would sleep in the guestroom across the hall. She visits her quarters during the day but never sleeps there at night. It was like that since he left.

It wasn't a wonderful morning the next day, Alyssa was still ill, Elizabeth didn't want to wake up and Elijah couldn't sleep. Mrs. Ophiuchus didn't even feel like eating. It was miserable in the Ophiuchus castle.
In the black castle, Alastor felt something was off and so he used the floating portal that showed him how his family was doing. He was furious!
"Balthazar!!" Alastor roared and immediately Balthazar appeared.
"Look what happened!" Alastor groaned and rubbed the bridge of his nose. Balthazar looked at Alastor in confusion.
"Thisss hasss nothing to do with me! And you know that, Alastor!" Balthazar said and Alastor realized, he apologized afterward.
"You're right... That was rash of me..." His head began to hurt once again. A cackle noise was made across the room. Even Balthazar was scared.
"ALASTOR!! You've been pushing me away for some time!!" The voice said and Alastor tried to conceal it away. Balthazar protected his master but that was useless.
"And so what if I have?! My daughter is experiencing a terrible illness right now! My family is feeling miserable!" Alastor beamed but the voice wasn't bothered.
"It's just a fever! Alastor don't be this dramatic, if your Father were still alive he would punish you even more!" A moment of silence until the voice cackled and Alastor glared at his surroundings.
"AH, THAT'S RIGHT... YOUR FATHER IS GONE!" The voice roared and Alastor's expression darkened. He clenched his fist and Balthazar didn't like how this was going so he turned into his human form.
"Alastor, forgive me for doing this," Balthazar reminded and immediately punched Alastor in the gut but that was to separate him from his other self.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" The voice grunted and Alastor was knocked out cold, for a while only.
