As Elizabeth stood before the door entrance, Mrs. Ophiuchus wiped her tears and allowed Elizabeth to go inside. She asked Elizabeth to take a seat and Mrs. Ophiuchus composed herself.

"My dear... Will you not consider going to school-"

"Mother... I decided and pondered on it for a while and decided I would go on one condition," Elizabeth said as she was considering listening to Mrs. Ophiuchus's request.

"What is your condition, my dear? I won't hesitate to agree," Mrs. Ophiuchus said but Elizabeth wanted to be sure of her words, so she looked at her mother with a 'Are you sure expression' and Mrs. Ophiuchus replied with a 'cross her heart' gesture and Elizabeth took it.

"I want you to not always make me like I'm your puppet... And what I mean by that is that please don't always make decisions for me, how will I become an independent woman then?" Elizabeth had a point but Mrs. Ophiuchus took that to heart but wasn't affected.

"Of course, I apologize for being like that my dear. Now I'm glad you made this decision," Mrs. Ophiuchus said as she caressed Elizabeth's cheek and left to check on Alyssa but then Elizabeth asked something that made her stop in her tracks.

In the black castle, Alastor is delightful as Eliza speaks with him and is seen like a happy fool sitting on his throne. Balthazar was glad and so was Bella. The three snake siblings had their discussion.

"Do you think Lady Elizabeth will come to school?" Flint asked shyly and Fang couldn't help but laugh at his brother acting that way.

"Are you asking this just because you saw her earlier?"  Calypso guessed but also teased Flint as he usually wasn't like this. 

"I'm excited to go back though," Fang added as he used 'snake den' and four snakes came slithering all over his body, Fang always had a gloomy but maniacal expression when his snakes are there.

"How are you excited when you look like that?" Calypso asked with her nose scrunched up a bit and her eyebrow raised.

"At least I sort of sounded enthusiastic," Fang defended and Calypso ended up with a 'Are you sure' look on her face. Flint returned to his snake form as he was getting exhausted from being in his human form. As for Fang and Calypso, they mirrored Flint's actions, they later slithered back to the void where Alastor is letting them reside.

Back in the castle, Mrs. Ophichus is rather taken aback by what Elizabeth asked her earlier so she wants to take a rest and intends to answer Elizabeth's question in the future.

"Please dear, I will get to you soon about that, right now I'm worried about Alyssa, please see to her on my behalf as I rest for a while," Mrs. Ophichus requested as she sat down on the side of her bed.

Elizabeth blinked for a while before nodding and saying,

"Yes, of course, Mother, I'm sorry to bother you," Elizabeth said before leaving but as she turned around, Mrs. Ophichus caught her shoulder and stopped her from her tracks.

"Beth, please know you're never an inconvenience to me, okay?" Mrs. Ophiuchus's tone was soft and that made Elizabeth turn to see her Mother's softened expression. Elizabeth smiled and nodded then left shortly after.

Elizabeth left the room and into the hallway, she bumped into Elijah.

"Where's Mother?" He asked and Elizabeth was confused.

 
"Why are you looking for her?" Elizabeth asked and Elijah stared at her and exhaled before saying,

"It's Alyssa," Elizabeth's expression darkened and followed Elijah to the ward, where she was being monitored and taken care of.
