Chapter 14: My mate's past

Waking up beside my mate is the best feeling ever. I thought while I watched Aiden slept like A baby.
It was a new day and I was ready for it, I went to the bathroom and fixed my hair, brush my teeth then had a nice cold shower. I then got dressed in my blue summer dress and white flats.
I went down to the kitchen and got some french toast, orange juice, bacon, sausage and fruits for my breakfast. I was very hungry but ready to get on with my day. As I ate I heard some girls whispering about me, little did they knew my listening skills were top notch.
I also saw a new girl I think, well I didn't know her or have I ever seen her from I've been here.

" I heard she looks basic, nothing to get excited over and she cannot fight. Aiden is my ex and I say when and who he can move on with. I don't care about this girl and I think she isn't his real mate because I am."

As the new blonde said this my Wolfe got upset and wanted to take over, I slammed my hand on the counter and turned to her.

So you think you're his real mate huh? Why don't you challenge me since I can't fight? Better yet we can take this to the training ground now! I shouted as they all looked stunned by my outburst.

"Everyone get out except Arielle and Katie!! Also all who spoke against the Luna will be punished for your crime!"

I turned around to see Aiden standing on the stairs, apparently he could sense me getting upset by the seconds and rushed to the stairs in time to hear the bitch trash talking me. I dare say he looked awfully mad is an understatement.

" Katie what do you mean you're my mate and you dare challenge your Luna?! I will make an example out of you. My mate will accept the challenge which will be today at 3pm and if you lose you will be killed. I take no prisoners!"

My Wolfe started smirking and I knew then that she was going to kill Katie, she will not rest until she feels satisfied because she disrespected us. Aiden placed his hands around my waist and placed his head on my shoulder to inhale my scent so that he can calm down.
We then walked outside and went towards the training ground, it was just 7 am so the training ground was full.

I decided not to train and instead warm later before the fight, this way I will be ready to bite her neck off. My Wolf is very confident and she does not tolerate disrespect from anyone, after all our mate is the alpha prince and soon to be king.
