It has been 2 months since I've found out that I am expecting triplets. To say I am overwhelmed is an understatement. It feels like a dream come true.
Aiden had called his sister and Shanice, who is also shopping for her twin pups so that we could get the stuff for my baby shower. Shanice is due this week while I am patiently waiting for next month, or should I say in 3 weeks.
After the decorations were bought, we then went to McDonald's for a burger combo because that's what I felt for at the time.
While we were about to board the car, I saw a note on my side of the window. I quickly opened it and read.
" I am coming for you. Your pups will be mine. I will raise them to be the most powerful in the world. "
I started shaking, and my wolf wanted to shift, but I had to calm down as I was afraid of the babies getting hurt.
The body guards sense the rogue scent and hurried us into the car so that we could arrive home before we were attacked.
The gamma also informed Aiden as to what's going on so that he can be aware of what we're dealing with.
Once we drove in the parkway, I quickly got out and headed straight to Aiden's office.
As I walked in, I overheard him discussing a rogue they had killed. I knew nothing about this and was confused because he never kept anything from me.
Once he saw me stepped in, he dismissed his beta and elders so that we could talk.
" Hey babe, I am so sorry about what happened, I should've accompanied you all to the mall. I am happy you are safe, and I love you. "
Thank you, babe, and I love you too. So, when did you have a rogue killed? And why didn't I know about this?
" I didn't want to scare you. The rogue first attacked when you were in the infirmary. That is how he informed the others that you're expecting. I am so sorry as I never knew he had mindlinked his leader before we killed him. I am truly sorry, but I did it to protect you guys. "
That's fine, and I understand. Since they know about the pregnancy, we might as well announce it to the world. You will then be able to get alliances to protect our kingdom and our babies.
I need to first inform my family, though, and you should inform yours as well. I am going to shower and lay down, then call my parents.
With that said, we kissed, and I made my way to our room.
