It's Christmas in the Smith house, Jerry is making a Christmas dinner while we're all in the living room on our devices, except for Rick nobody knows where he's at, Jerry walks in the living room and notices Beth and Morty are occupied with tablets while Me and Summer are using our smartphones . I'm leaning against the couch with my feet on the coffee table.
"Um, Merry Christmas? Hello? Mine and Selina's parents are coming over for the first time in years, Can we stow the gadgets and look alive?" Jerry says, putting his hands on his hips.
"Alive, for your parents?" Beth questions, looking up from her tablet.
I look up from my iPhone and glare at Beth. "Hey, that's my parents you're talking about Beth, I haven't seen them in years!" I say, giving her a bitter expression. Beth shrugs and ignores me. I scoffed and turned back to my iPhone. "Whatever." I mutter to myself.
"Mm, good one." Jerry says, as he swiped the tablet from her hands. "Hey, man!" Beth exclaims. "You 'hey man'! This holiday is about humanity!" Jerry says, with a frown.
"You know, I thought it was about being born half-god or something." Morty adds on, not looking up from his tablet.
"Okay, whatever, All electronic items are going in the stocking now." Jerry demands for the devices but he's definitely not getting my phone, only Rick and Morty are allowed on it.
"Aw man, here." Morty hands over his tablet, Jerry takes it and puts it in the stocking. "Dad, I'm not giving you my phone." Summer says while holding her phone close to her.
"Put it in the stocking, Summer, or I'm joining Facebook." Jerry threatened with a smirk and Summer gasps and drops her phone in the stocking. I put my phone in my jean pocket, getting up from the couch and started to leave, to look for Rick. Jerry notices I'm leaving and demands for my phone.
"Um Selina, Where are you going, give me your phone!" Jerry demands. "Uh, definitely away from you and you're not getting my phone Jerry!" I exclaimed as I walked over to the front door and bumping into someone, With my hands against their chest, I looked up and noticed it was Rick with a homeless guy. Rick looks down at me and smirked. "Woah, careful babygirl!" Rick says, as he holds my waist. I smile and hugged him tight. He smiles and ruffles my hair. I release him and stand beside him. "Ho ho ho, everybody!" Rick yells out.
Jerry approaches us and starts to intervenes. "More like whoa whoa whoa, what is this, our parents are coming over!" I just shake my head at Jerry and lean against Rick.
Rick glares at Jerry. "Calm down, Jerry, this is Ruben an old friend." Rick says, placing a hand on Ruben's shoulder. "Nice to meet you, Ruben. I'm Selina Smith, Rick's girlfriend." I say, with a small smile. "Pearl Harbor!" Ruben mumbles.
"I check in on him once a year and give him a little medical evaluation." By the time Rick finishes, Beth joins us and comments how her dad is sweet. "Aw, dad... That's so sweet." I nod in agreement. "Yeah, that's definitely sweet, sweetie!" I exclaimed, smiling softly at Rick as I kiss his cheek, Rick smiles and kisses my cheek back, I giggled and put my hands on my cheeks.
