WRITER’S Pov
it was a bright sunny Day and the thought of sitting in class listening to a man talk about one topic for some minutes angered Winifred the most. Winifred came out of her car and held her backpack tighter before walking towards the school entrance two sided door. Well she didn’t wait for Nelly today because of how pissed she was, she felt taking a ride to school by herself would be more peaceful…less noisy cause right now the slightest things could piss her off and she doesn’t want to vent on Nelly. Winifred looked around and saw a group of girls staring at her, they laughed and talked amongst themselves still stealing quick glances at her. It pissed Winifred so much that she walked closer to meet them instead of just ignoring them and letting it go.
“Who do you think you’re laughing at? You good for nothing losers”Winifred asked with rage bottled up inside her. She didn’t care if she was going to be late for assembly, all that mattered at the moment was teaching this group of girls a big lesson.
“Are you talking to us?”The one with the chest nut hair and brown eyes asked, the question only pissed Winifred the more and she wasn’t going to stand here and take more of all this disrespect.
“I bet you know who you’re talking to with that tone…I won’t stand by and watch you get away with this, the three of you better kiss your sorry ass goodbye from this prestigious school. I’ve pictured your faces in my head and I promise you this: your parents are all going to lose their jobs.” 
They all laughed hard instead, not showing any sign of fear that they were affected or terrified by Winifred’s threats. “And what’s so funny you fools?!”Winifred asked with her temples throbbed with rage.
“Don’t think we aren’t aware of what’s going on Winifred, your families company is at the brink of collapse and very soon, you’re going to be the one who would have to leave this prestigious school and not us. You’re such a spoilt brat! And poor Winifred’s not going to have everything she wants right at her feet with a snap of her fingers. Oh I can’t wait to see the look of poverty all over you and your miserable family”Claire mocked with an evil smirk on her face.
Winifred was so pissed and she couldn’t hold back her anger, she raised up her hand in the air and sent a hot slap straight to Claire’s right cheek. “You can insult me but don’t you ever! Drag my family into all this. say whatever you want because I don’t even care anymore. Those rumors are false so learn to read the newspaper more, and your free to tell Bianca and the rest of your stupid squad that I slapped you hard and got away with it”Winifred muttered before stepping back.
They all stood still and watched her go, Claire hissed and walked away with her minions trialing after her. Winifred knew this wasn’t over but still she didn’t care one bit of what was yet to come soon. A minute Later, she was already in the class she had after the assembly and she sat down beside Nelly. Nelly was worried because Winifred hasn’t uttered a single word ever since she got here, it looked achieve she was bothered about something and Nelly was so curious to know about what it is. “Is something wrong Winifred? You haven’t uttered a single word since the class started and that’s so unlike you”Nelly said not taking a single glance at Winifred.
“I’m fine so you don’t have to worry about me, just got a lot on my mind right now but I’ll be fine “Winifred drew in a long breath and sighed.
“Okay, if you said so”Nelly said and spread her arms wide. “Come give mummy a big hug”Nelly smiled broadly waiting for Winifred to come give her a hug.
Winifred was reluctant at first but she later gave in, she moved closer to Nelly and hugged her tight. “This feels a lot better. Thank you so much Nelly…you’re such a good friend”Winifred said, she smiled at her before they both let go of each other.
“I’m the class has to end sooner, well I just got a call that my Mum was rushed to the hospital and I’ve to go be by her side so you all should be on your best behavior and wait for the next teacher to come”Miss Edith announced before walking out the door.
“I was told earlier by the principle about this when I went outside to get something from Mr. Smith’s office”Nelly Exclaimed. Winifred rested her head on the front of her desk and closed her eyes. Hardin walked closer to where Bianca sat and hugged her tight with his arms wrapped around her waist.
“Hello! Babe, want to go home with me after school today?”Hardin asked with his eyes fixed on her boobs. Her cleavage was all exposed due to the dress she wore.
Her heart stopped as she heard him say that to her, “This is the my chance to finally go over to his place and have some alone time with him”Bianca thought to herself with her eyes not leaving his. Nelly just watched them with disgust in her eyes. Bianca’s eyes met with Nelly’s and Nelly quickly looked away to avoid any more trouble.
“I hope she doesn’t come here and create a scene. oh! Nelly, why did you’ve to look at her?.” 
Claire and her minions walked into the class room and at that moment Nelly knew their presence meant trouble. Nelly was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t notice Bianca standing in front of her. ‘’What do you think you’re staring at? Loser!”Bianca placed her hands on Nelly’s desk and pushed her head lightly repeatedly.
“Why can’t you just mind your goddam fucking business Bianca? Seems you called your squad to come beat my ass since your such a wimp! Just admit it that you’ve always wanted to be me”Winifred Spat and crossed her arms together.
“That’s absurd Winifred, I only hanged out with you cause you were going make me popular, so don’t think I liked you one bit! Because I hate you so much!”Bianca’s body locked up with rage and hated Winifred even more.
“Well if it isn’t Daddies little girl: Winifred”Mandy Mocked and Winifred hissed.
“What do you want Mandy?”Winifred asked, she wasn’t in the mood for their long annoying talks today. Mandy’s the leader of their small squad and she was the fierce one…she had a low cut on, black eyes, an oval shaped face and her lips were painted black. She looked like a thug that’s why Winifred didn’t accept her friendship when there were in Elementary school. 
“Bianca please tell your new friends to leave me alone and go talk to someone else”Winifred yawned and wore her fancy blue school bag over her shoulders.
“Hardin sure kisses so fucking good and the well he fondles and sucks my tits, that’s something I look forward to every single day.”Bianca said and moaned out loud.
Hearing those words from Bianca made Winifred remember what she was trying so hard to forget. “A lot of drama waiting for me at home and now at school too. Oh please! I really need a break”Winifred thought to herself.
“Come on, let’s go to the Library”Nelly held Winifred’s wrist and dragged her out.
“Girls I heard the cakes Made at her Mums cake farm tastes so bad and that place is infested with rats”Winifred heard Mandy say and they all laughed hard.
Winifred bowed her head and tears dropped from her chin to the floor, she cried silently so Nelly didn’t notice it sooner. “Winifred are you okay?”Hardin asked and held her hand. She raised up her head and looked away.
“What do you want? you Jerk!”Nelly asked, she had a big frown plastered on her face.
“I’m fine so you don’t have to worry about me anymore, go and hang out with your girlfriend before someone see’s us and starts spreading rumors again. I don’t want any trouble”Winifred said in between sobs.
“I know I was a big jerk the other day and I’m really sorry, let’s just be friends like we used to…so let’s start over and be friends again”Hardin stretched his hand for an hand shake.
“Did Bianca tell you to come and say all this? I love you so much! Hardin, forget about Bianca and love me Instead. Please!”Winifred cried and Hardin brought down his hand.
“I’m sorry but I can’t do that because I love Bianca and not forever will, you can’t force love. I’m really sorry.”Hardin apologized before he walked away.
Winifred felt her whole body get weak and she couldn’t hold the tears anymore, she wrapped her arms around Nelly and hugged her tight. “Nelly I don’t want to get married to anyone.” Winifred cried and buried her face into Nelly’s hair. Nelly placed her hand on Winifred’s back and caressed it softy.
“Sssh!! It’s going to okay, you’re not going to marry anyone” 
Winifred slowly let go of Nelly and cleaned her face with her scarf. “I’m sorry for messing up your hair”
‘’It’s fine, so don’t be bothered about it. Were you bluffing when you said you were getting married to?”Nelly asked wearing a confused look on her face.
“I’ll tell you everything later but I don’t want to go home today so I’ll be sleeping over at your place instead”Winifred Blurted out while trying to avoid Nelly’s eyes that read, “What’s actually going on?.”
“Don’t ask me anymore more questions Nelly, are you going to help me or not?”Winifred asked in annoyance.
“Well I’m sorry but I can’t let you sleep over, your parents are around and they didn’t even call my Mum to inform us that you would be spending the night at my place. We both know how your Mum gets when she’s pissed so I’d advise you to just go home and face your problems head on. You’re a strong girl right from the start so stop being like this okay, I’ll follow you to your place if you want.”Nelly replied and the expression on Winifred’s face softened.
“Plus Hardin doesn’t deserve your love and attention, so stop crying for him and see how all this goes if it’s really true. Lol”Nelly added.
E5wdp“Nelly’s right, if I don’t go with the flow then my parents are going to lose everything and then I’m going to be the laughing stock of the whole school. God please let it not be an old man”Winifred thought to herself and Nelly chuckled.
“Don’t worry Winifred, I know your Mum won’t want her young beautiful daughter to spend her entire life with an old man”Nelly Joked and they both laughed hard. That was the first time Winifred’s laughed since morning.

Winifred was finally home, Nelly couldn’t come because her Mum called when they drove here and sadly Winifred’s driver had to drop her off first before taking Winifred home. She walked slowly into the house and closed the door quietly…Winifred ran her eyes around the whole room, she took deep breaths before she resumed walking. She followed another door that led to her room to avoid meeting her mum or any of the guests. “What’s taking Winifred so long to get here? It’s dinner time already”Winifred heard her Mums voice from the other room.
“Honey please don’t worry, she’s going to be here anytime soon”Mr Downs said reassuringly. 
“It’s already dinner time and I’m starting to get bored. Andy I can’t wait anymore, like wtf…is she so important that she has to keep us waiting. Believe me, I also don’t want to be here” 
Winifred stopped walking and stared at the back of a Masculine figure backing her, her whole body got sweaty when he turned around and that’s when she saw his face properly. The expression on her face turned into a frown and she hissed.
“I Know You!...”
