Interviewer: So Carlos, how does it feel to start the season with a win?
Carlos: It feels incredible. The car felt good throughout the whole weekend and getting a 1-2 makes it even better for the team. Obviously, it's only the first race of the season so we can't really predict how it'll go from here but we're hopeful.
Interviewer: That truly is incredible. Was there anything special about this weekend?
Carlos: Firstly, obviously, I'd like to thank the team - everyone who's here and back at Maranello as well. Well also you know this is my first race as a married man - so maybe that helped.
Interviewer: Yes, congratulations on the wedding. So you're married to Kaia Astor, who is -
Carlos: You mean Kaia Astor Sainz (he says smugly)
Interviewer: Uh yes, sorry. Kaia Astor Sainz - and she's the CEO of Astor - which is a sponsor to the Scuderia. How has she helped you?
Carlos: She's just incredible. I fully believe that she's my lucky charm. Astor actually joined on as a sponsor to the team during the Silverstone weekend and she was actually in the paddock that week as well. I don't think it's a coincidence that I got my first win that week.
Interviewer: Wow! That's truly just incredible! I did not know that - sounds like you two are a match made in heaven.
Carlos: I know she's watching this right now in my driver's room and I haven't spoken to her yet. So, I just wanted to say - Kaia, mi amor, this win is for you and all the wins to come are for you. I'm coming to cash in on our deal now (he says with a wide grin on his face)
Interviewer: Deal...?
Carlos: Oh nothing! Kaia and I just had a deal if I won the race....she'd just.... hm okay. I have to go now.
Interviewer: Oh okaY? That was Carlos Sainz securing his first win of the season with Scuderia Ferrari..

"Kai, so once we're back at the hotel.....should we maybe start the process of making a baby...?" he says cheekily
"Carlos.....we've been married for like two months. It's too early...."
"What do you mean too early? How would it matter if it's in a couple of months or now? It's obviously going to happen. We're going to have little Kaias running around us sooner or later" he says
She interrupts "Or little Carlitos..."
"I don't know, Carlos. Obviously, it's going to happen. I want to have little cute babies with you but I don't know if the timing is the best."
"Mi amor, I've already told you before - you are my priority, our family is my priority. Everything else is secondary. I understand if you don't want to right now, but, mi amor, I'm just excited. Like I can't wait to look at the beautiful babies we make - who'll hopefully look just like you-"
She interrupts again "Stop! I hope they look like you and have your beautiful eyes and hair"
He quickly pecks her cheek "I don't want you to feel like you're pressurised, but I just want you to know I'm ready to be a dad. I am 28 years old...So whenever you're ready to just let me know."
"Firstly, 28 is not old - I'm 26 and I'm saying that. Secondly, I think I've always been ready to be a mom - you know how much I love babies. It's just that I feel like we're busy right now. You know what, how about this... how about you win a few more races for me and then during summer break, we can start trying to get pregnant. How does that sound?"
He kisses her once again and says "That sounds perfect. I'm telling you Kaia, I'm going to win so many races for you......so......how about we practice making babies till now?" he says with a wide grin on his face again.
Kaia playfully swats his hand and whispers in his ear "I guess, practice makes perfect. We do have to celebrate you winning." and she kisses him.
