Sakura sat near her two unconscious teammates with an exhausted expression. She couldn't afford to sleep while they were in that condition. It was her duty to protect them.
A sudden sound caught her attention. She turned around immediately throwing her kunai at the small squirrle. She took out another kunai and prepared to fight.
The sound shinobi trio walked out of the bushes smirking at the defenceless girl. Their leader, Dosu stepped up and said. "Hand over the scroll little girl, or this will get ugly."
Sakura just glared at them without a word making one of the Genin angry. Zaku started walking towards her as a giant log came flying towards him. He raised his hand and blasted the trap easily.
The pink haired girl gasped in shock and tightened the grip on her weapon. She stood up with shaking hands as the seashell fell on the ground with a clink. Sakura picked it up and blew it, but it didn't make any sound.
"Hah, your little seashell doesn't work? How sad, Hey Dosu I just had a great idea. Why don't we kill Sasuke infront of her?"
The three sound ninjas laughed like maniacas as Kin grabbed Sakura by the hair. The girl managed to take out a kunai as she waited for the right moment.
She sliced her long hair off making the sound Kunoichi fall back in surprise. Team Ino-Shika-Cho who were hiding in the bushes, watching, gasped at the scene.
Sakura then attacked Zaku and bit his hand, hard.
"Let go, You bitch!!!" He yelled while hitting her continuesly.
Her best friend watched in horror with tears in her eyes. Shikamaru waited for her decision. "So we're doing this or not?"
He asked making Ino nod. The trio was about to attack when someone kicked Zaku off of Sakura. The sound ninja went flying towards the nearest tree.
Mira looked back at the pink haired girl with concern. She gasped as she noticed her chopped off hair. "Sorry I'm late, we got lost a bit." The white haired girl apologized awkwardly and turned to the sound team.
Without warning she ran towards Kin and grabbed her by the hair. "It was you wasn't it?" She asked throwing a punch at her stomach.
The kunoichi fell to the ground, unconscious. Dosu looked shocked as he was about to attack. Mira noticed Lee laying on the ground, struggling to get up. She dodged Dosu's sound attack which destroyed the tree behind her.
With one swing she threw the bushy browed boy over her shoulder and ran over to his team. Tenten looked worried as she took care of Lee.
Before The girl could get back to fighting Sasuke was awake, with black wave-like marks all across his body. The chakra around him was dark and heavy. Sakura looked shocked as she tried to stop him.
But it's like he was a different person. Before She could get close Mira grabbed her wrist, dragging her over to the bushes. Team Ino-Shika-Cho looked shocked as The ravenette used a powerful fire jutsu.
"Mira, What's happening to him?"
Sakura asked as the white haired girl looked down. "I don't know..."
She answered and looked back at the Uchiha. He grabbed Zaku by the arms and pressed his leg on his back. The sound ninja yelled in pain as Sasuke broke his arms.
Before things could get worse Mira ran towards him and used a jutsu to restrain him. Sasuke was shocked as he tried to break free, but it was useless.
He eventually gave up and fell to his knees, while the black curse marks went back to their original shape. The white haired girl plopped on the ground in relief as her jutsu disappeared.
"Seriously, what was that?" She asked the boy but didn't get a responce as he looked down at his hands. His breathing was heavy as he looked up at the sound trio.
Their leader Dosu stepped back while taking out the scroll. He placed it on the floor and raised his hands in defeat.
"Take this as a sign of our defeat, we can't beat you the way you are Sasuke Uchiha. Let us retreat." He said while bowing.
Sasuke looked at him with confusion. What's gotten into this guy? Just a second ago he was ready to fight her... He thought while glancing at Mira.
The girl sighed as the sound ninjas ran away.

"HUH???!!! Did that really happen? Sakura-chan are you alright?"
Naruto yelled after hearing the whole story. Lee who was finally able to move walked over to Sakura with a bright smile.
"Sakura-san, I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. But the next time we meet I'll be a stronger man." He said making the girl smile sadly.
"Also, You're Mira right? Thank you for protecting Sakura. I hope I'll have a chance to fight you in the next round." Bowl cut boy said making the girl surprised.
"I see, well see you in the next round then." She said with a smile which he returned.
"We'll take care of him from now, Let's go." Neji said as he and Tenten carried their teammate away.
Sasuke and Naruto also stood up and prepared to leave. "Thanks again Mira-san."
"Just Mira is fine, We're friends now right?"
Sakura smiled brightly as they shook hands. "Yeah.."
"Hey Sakura, We're leaving!!!" Naruto yelled as the girl caught up with her teammates.
The blonde looked at her happy expression with confusion. "Did you make friends while we were unconscious?" He asked at which the girl rolled her eyes.
"What was I suppost to do? I was all alone and then Mira helped me, She even treated your guys' wounds." Sakura said as Naruto finally realized.
"oh, I see!!! She must be really strong. I wanna fight her now."
