Makio smirked from inside the earth prison as Baku continued to yell in pain. "What the hell did you do to me??!?!"
"What do you mean? I did nothing, You just happened to step into my trap." She said as the lava melted the lower part of Baku's armor.
"Lava style: Volcano surface." The earth prison was also melted by the hot substance. Makio walked out of the lava like it was nothing. Her opponent who was practically on the verge of giving up, slowly stepped back.
"Shall we end this match now?"
She said with a smirk and ran straight at him. A good punch to the gut completely knocked out Baku. The tired jonin announced Makio as the winner.
"Hashibira Makio, You better remember that name." She said and returned to team mist.
They all fist-bumped as the preparation for the next battle began.

What insane power, Team mist isn't someone to mess around with and That was just one of their members. I wonder what the others can do, especially Mira. Sasuke thought as he glanced at them.

The next battles were Naruto vs Kiba, in which The blonde knuckle-head won in the most unpredictable way ever.
The battles between the two Hyungas tho was quite different. Needless to say Neji, the strongest genin in the leaf won.

The next battle was Giyu Nishimura against the stone team's Kunoichi, Ayami Hitsuga. They both stepped out to the stage. Team Mist's sensei already knew who the winner would be.
"Well, this match will end quickly."
He said as Makio agreed. "Obviously, That guy is a genius."
Team 7 looked confused at their statements. "Is he that strong?" Kakashi asked, but earned a chuckle instead of an answer.
The match began as Ayami jumped back to create some distance. Giyu did the same as he took a deep breath. There was a moment of silence as non of them attacked.
"Oi, what's happening??!! Why aren't they attacking?" Naruto asked loudly as The red headed girl rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"Shut up and just watch, alright?"
The kunoichi was about to attack, but the boy had already weaved the signs in a split second. He slammed his hand against the floor as ground began shaking.
"Is that an earth jutsu?" Ayami questioned as she jumped back again, But before she could land multiple giant icecles shot out from the ground. Everyone gasped as the girl's leg got stuck.
She took out a kunai and began pounding on the ice in a hurry. Giyu took his time walking towards her as Ayami finally used fire style to get out of there.
"Ice style, huh. Impressive, he has great control of it." The copy ninja said as team 7 watched with their mouth agap. "Is his ice style like Haku's?" Sakura asked making Kakashi shake his head.
"Nope, not at all. It's nothing like I've ever seen before."
The dark haired boy finally reached the girl as the tips of his fingers started freezing. The kunoichi used a fire attack to melt the ice but it didn't work. She ran up to him and threw a few punches.
Giyu skillfully dodged all of them as Ayami threw kunai's with paper bombs attached to it. The icecles were comletely destroyed in the explosion. The girl was too quick to celebrate her victory as he stared at her from above.
His surroundings were all slowly freezing as the air in the room became cold. Giyu jumped back down as Ayami continued attacked, with fire style, wind style and weapons.
She then noticed his face which was slowly losing it's color. Is his face freezing? That must mean he's reaching his limit. In that case... The girl thought as she used fire style to create smoke.
The kunoichi took out a blade and attacked Giyu from behind. "BEHIND YOU!!!!" Naruto yelled as the blade made contact with his arm.
It instantly broke... The sword
shattering into a million pieces, like glass.
Ayami tried stepping back in fear but ended up losing her balance and falling on the ground. Everyone watched in shock as Giyu bent down to her level. "Are you quitting?" He said while tilting his head to the side.
The girl managed to gather some courage to get up, the boy smiled faintly and stepped back.
She was about to attack but couldn't.
her body wouldn't move.
She was frozen in place by his ice. His speed was far greater.
"The battle ends here, the winner is Giyu Nishimura."
The boy stepped up front and weaved a sign, which completely melted the ice in the room and around his body. "What a monster." Shikamaru said still shaken up by the cold presence.
"So that's what you call a genius." Naruto said as Sasuke clenched his fist.
These guys are more powerful than I could've imagined. Are they really Genin? I guess I shouldn't be surprised their sensei is also a battle monster. The Uchiha thought as he smirked in amusement.
"I want to fight them."
He whispered loud enough for Kakashi to hear.

"Seriously You're in trouble Choji. There's only strong ones left. That sound ninja looks strong, The guy from team stone has a powerful jutsu and the strongest one of all That guy from hidden Sand."
Shikamaru said as the chubby boy was having an internal panic.
"Oi don't you think you're forgeting someone? What about Mira? She hasn't fought yet." Makio said as The boy from the Nara clan awkwardly scrached his neck.
"Sorry about that. You're strong too, aren't you?" He asked while shoving his hands in his pockets.
"Where'd you get that from? I'm not that strong." The white haired girl said with a reasurring smile. "Besides if you get paired up with me, I wouldn't go that hard on you."
Choji sighed in relief as their teacher, Asuma bribbed him with food and BBQ.
