Flavian was screaming while Y/n went to the window. He looked to the right and up, on top of the wall, rocks fell from the top of it. "Shit." He looks back over at Flavian. "Come on, we're going." He says while reaching under his desk for a white sort of backpack, on its flap was a green cross.
It was a satchel he had made himself, it was filled with different kinds of medical supplies. He quickly checked what was inside with a deadpan look. He then heard quick breathing coming from across from him.
"Uh, Flavian?" She was hyperventilating, a panic attack maybe. "Shit." Y/n quickly hurried over to her, as he placed the satchel on his shoulder. She sat in the armchair, pushing herself into it, her heels digging into the floor, her eyes were closed but her head faced upwards. "Alright. Flavian. Can you hear me." Her breathing still continued heavily and uncontrollably. "I'm gonna put my hand on yours." And he did so, as to try and take the panic away from the action.
His palm slowly and carefully fell on her knuckle, she opened her eyes, her irises looking towards him.
"Right, keep breathing, I want you to count to five, slowly." He looked her in the eye as if to say he was here.
"Hh-h-hone!" She wheezed out.
"Good good, that's great. Now the rest."
Her throat hiccuped as she tried to continue. "T-th-hh-hoo! Thhhhe-ree! Fhhour! Fh-h-ive!" As she continued her posture relaxed only a little, however her voice still continued to hiccup.
"Okay, okay that's great." He stumbled into a kneel as the building shook once more. "Okay, there's gonna be an alarm soon okay, it's just an alarm telling us to go. Understand?"
The woman nodded fiercely, swallowing her saliva while still coarsely breathing.
"We have to get up and go alright. You think you can do that?" He got up steadily and gradually got her up. Her wheezing was still the same amount, he couldn't help her much more than this for now, he needed to get them to the safe house.
He kept hold of her hand while giving her calming techniques to focus on. A loud alarm goes off as he tries to calm her down. However both just cancel each-other out.
"Yup, through the door slowly." He led her carefully out of the orphanage.
Lots of people were panicking, running through the streets away from the wall. Rubble fell from the top, destroying the roads and buildings beneath.
"KID!" He heard the officer's voice. "MOVE OUT THE WAY!" Y/n didn't need much more than that to barge Flavian out the way. As he did so a large boulder where they once stood crashed into the ground.
"Shit..." He got up bringing Flavian with him. "Besnick." He faced the two officers running his way. They're uniformed trench coats a little ripped up.
"Kid there's people who need medical attention, you can decli-"
"Show me." Ah, he almost automatically left Flavian. "Someone needs to take her to the safe-house."
"Wafi, take her, I have to make sure this kid is protected." His head turned to his partner. She immediately listened to her commanding officer, though she was still a little sceptical about his abilities.
Besnick ran ahead of Y/n who was still close behind. Besnick was a martial arts user, every time rubble fell, it crumbled on his palm.
It wasn't perfect protection, but it was good enough for the teen.
Y/n was frantically pushing numbers into his flip phone and the call almost ran out until it was actually answered.
"HEY! THE ALARMS ARE GOING OFF, GET TO THE SAFE-HOUSE!" Cass' voice shouted from the shoddy phone. "ME AND KUMO WILL COME GRAB YOU!"
