Y/N's POV

It's been a day since he caught me and currently shanks was telling me all about devil fruits.. they sound very useful but I also concerned about the two weaknesses..one being of losing the ability to swim.. it was interesting though..they sound like something from every child's dream of having a super power..

"You should've seen Luffy's face when he stretched his arm" I giggled at his comment "I bet.." shanks raises an eyebrow before smirking "your in deep thought..what kind of devil fruit would you want if you had one?" I think before smiling softly "I think-k..a devil fruit that I would like to have-e would be..one with wings" shanks hums "not bad! Why wings?" I think before sighing "just..I never really have over stepped out of my shyness-s..and never did anything daring..I just wanna feel.. I don't-t know..free?.." shanks smiles "you know..if we were able to go back soon..we could bring you with us? But it's your choice" my eyes widen.. "really-y?.." shanks nods "yeah besides you actually aren't that shy with us really" I tilt my head "your comfortable around us and talk more than before" I blush embarrassed and cover my face as he laughs at my realization

Ace was listening in from the window of the kitchen and thinks.. 'hm..if she comes..then maybe..I can search for that devil fruit if it does exist..if it does..I'll give it to her! Wait..what's up with me!?..she's..' ace sighs "Ace-yoi what's on your mind? That girl?" Ace chokes on air flustered as Marco smirks "so you are? Heh she's still pure you know" Ace pouts "I just can't think straight.." "she is a sweet girl..though your just thinking about something aren't you?" Ace rolls his eyes.. "is there even a devil fruit that lets it's user have wings.." Marco raises an eyebrow "I think so why?" Ace looks to him wide eyed "really? Where?" Marco laughs "so persistent aren't you Ace-yoi? But if your giving it away to her then you'll need her consent" Ace let's it sink in before sighing "I know.."

Marco couldn't help but smile..he hates to admit it but he's glad Ace is alive..and this girl is helping him through being here.. Sanji comes in and starts cooking dinner "eh? Marco what's on your mind?" Marco smirks with his eyes looking to a pouting Ace..Sanji's eyes follow and raised one of his curly brows.. "what about him?" Marco gives him 'that' smirk and sanji fumes "Oi! Get your head out of the gutter you bastard!" Ace tilts his head "ha? Gutter?" Sanji growls as Marco chuckles

Y/N was now eating dinner with the others and let her tell ya it was..more crazy "Oi! That's mine you idiot!" Luffy yelps after Nami stabbed his hand with a fork.. Y/N just ate quietly and it didn't go unnoticed by Ace..he couldn't help but sometimes have his eyes look to her.. "shanks laughs at Luffy's attempts to steal food while Mihawk sips on some wine.. "Luffy you sure are a foodie aren't ya!" "Of course he is with that rubber he's just gutless! Literally!" Nami says in frustration after punching Luffy's head away from her plate Marco noticed ace looking at you and smirks "soo Ace-yoi" Ace blushes and pouts knowing where this is headed.. "Marco.." Sabo was next to Ace and Luffy with him being inbetween them looks over to ace confused "what's the matter?" Marco grins and Ace grew flustered "nothing-g he's just being an idiot" "Oi! Your the idiot you napper!" Sabo sweatdrops and notices you were gone?..

Sabo raises an eyebrow "hm? What is it Sabo-ya?" "Y/N must've walked off?.." law looks to your seat and sighs "I would understand with that strawhat.." sabo chuckles a little and notices Daflamingo was at a glare contest with law.. he sweatdrops to the tension.. Ace notices your gone and pouts making Marco chuckle and in return Ace pouts..

You were outside sitting at the dock..your cherry blossom tree was now a adult sized tree and sometimes would have the cherry blossoms fall down into the pond.. it was peaceful for you.. she smiles softly letting the wind blow her hair.. she sighs.. "they seem so..carefree as pirates..it..must feel nice..being not held back against your rights of freedom.." Y/N always hated she never nor still sticks up and fights back with that bully she always had hated.. it made her tear up in frustration..

"If I could have a devil fruit..I'd use it to fly away..like I usually do or fight back.." "that's a nice thing tho probably not to run from everything" you flinch hearing Sabo and sighed.. "sorry am I ruining your time?.." "Nono-o it's fine.." Sabo leans against the dock with his pole inside the home.. "so..your wanting to come back with us?..you know it's very dangerous.." "..I understand..I'll think more on it but..what you guys call devil fruits..intrigue me sadly-y.." Sabo chuckles "they're not so bad" you pout "I think that a winged devil fruit user would be cool honestly and not a bad fighter hell Marco is a bird like user but a Phoenix" you smile a little to him..

"There you are I've been looking for ya Y/N!" You see Ace and wave a little to him.. before you yawn..you didn't really get good sleep these past days.. "tired?" "Mhm-m.." ace thought before picking you up bridal making you blush "what are you-u" "your tired so it's fine! Besides I'm a literal fire place!" You couldn't help but agree..he felt so warm.. you had fallen asleep before Ace blushes to you snuggling into his chest.. right where your head was is the mark that killed Ace..

"She's a keeper Ace"Ace growls at Sabo as he was now flustered carrying a light and who was his crush.. he walks inside and heads to your room not caring about Luffy's snores in his men crewmates room.. he lays you in bed but before he left your arm stopped him from leaving and you nuzzled it.. he smiles softly with blush.. he sighs and gets in bed with you.. he pulls you close before falling asleep.. he smiles knowing your choice at the end hopefully..
