The first thing I do when I wake up is check my phone. There are no messages from him. "Dang, he must've been talking to Theo." I Thought. I continue and get ready to go to school. When I get to school, I see him talking to his friends. As I walk past, I smile and he smiled back. As I pass, I smile uncontrollably at the fact that he just smiled at me. I make my way to Avery. She's always in the same spot every morning with Theo. Honestly, I want a relationship like theirs. They have that relationship everyone is jealous of. They walk in the halls together, Theo with his backpack on his back and Avery's backpack on the front of him. They have the relationship where they're best friends but also each other's whole world. They have the relationship I dream of having with Elias. I continue walking to Avery. She sees me as I'm approaching and waves. I give her a hug and ask her how she has been. We talk for a little before I bring up Elias. She tells me that he definitely likes me but I don't believe her. While I'm denying it, the bell rings and we head to class. All I can think about is Elias...
