All throughout class, all I could think about was what my friends were saying. Could she actually like me. We go to lunch and get in the line. They're serving chicken tacos-the best thing they serve here-so we make sure to get in the line before they're all gone. As we get out of the line, Avery calls Theo over to their table and Wesley and I follow. I sit next to Evie and we eat our chicken tacos. "These tacos taste amazing!" I mention, fighting against the loud cafeteria. "They really do!" Evie responds. We continue to have a conversation about the chicken tacos. Then, it's time to go to class. Our next class is AP Physics. I love this class because I get to sit next to Evie. We were sat next to each other at the beginning of the year and just became friends. I always make things awkward between the two of us though. We sit down and get started.
