Letting go of the past

As I stared at the cut marks on her wrists I dropped down on my knees and looked up to her.
Jordan:" why are you doing this?"

Nicki:"I'm sorry it's just all the stress and and..."
I got up and kissed her head. then I took her hand and lead her to the couch where we sat and talked. we had talked for 9 hours straight, I loved the way we talked it brought us both back to peace.
Over the last hour we had talked about how we could start over and have a new stress less life with our child Jacob, she said that we could rent a house or apartment for our own, I thought that would be great but then what about school and would her mom even let her live alone. maybe this was a plan for when we graduate she can't possibly think of doing this now.
Well she actually was thinking of doing this now.
Nicki:"babe cmon we could get away with Jacob and live a better life than this."

Jordan:"No no way what about school and your mom, before I start a new life I want to finish my old one which means finishing high school and starting college, plus babe we both have a lot on our plate so trying to spend money and rent some place to live would be pointless lets just stay at your moms house please."

Nicki: "*rolling her eyes and sighing* "fine, I guess your right I just hate dealing with all this drama and pain."

Jordan" babe you don't have to worry I'll be there for you always I promise."
She smiles and gave me a kiss then we spent the night in my parents house since they're never here, it was a kind of romantic night Nicki and I had spent the rest of the night watching old love movies and talking about embarrassing stories, but then something special happened as we were talking I stared into her beautiful eyes and my heart started to beat even faster as I starting thinking to myself "this is the best girlfriend I could ever have I'm gonna giver her the world, she's my lady and she deserves everything I love her so much."

At that moment I was 200% in love with Nicki as she was talking I interrupted her by leaning in and kissing her.

Nicki:*giggling* "baby what are you doing?"
Jordan:" I wanna make love to you."
She smiled as we started to make love at the end she fell asleep and I was up staring at the ceiling thinking of how much my life has changed since she came into it. she's the best thing I could ever ask for.
