A WARNING FIRST. 5

It was 6:30 AM, and Rinyoe woke up from his bed. It was a normal day for him until he realized he was still in his outside clothes. He assumed that Arien took him home and himself safely, at least that was what he thought until he went outside his room and saw Arien on the couch sleeping. He didn't know what time it was when he got home but he took it normally.

His parents were still sleeping so it didn't matter if Arien was over, they'd understand quickly. It was a half day of school today since they had training with their powers. Rinyoe brushed his teeth and then got his clothes for school and started getting dressed.

After that, he went to his kitchen and grabbed a quick granola bar, and called it a day. He went into his living room and shook Arien, hoping he woke up.

RINYOE "Arien, wake up dude."
Arien didn't respond.
RINYOE "Arien!" he said, in a low yelling voice.
Arien still didn't respond, but he was smirking and Rinyoe noticed that. Rinyoe was not playing games with his best friend, so he used his lightning on his finger and quickly poked it on Arien's face.

ARIEN "Okay! Okay! I'm awake! Jesus christ!"
RINYOE "You better be, there's no time to play games! Did you forget we have training today?"
ARIEN "Oh shit, I forgot about that."
RINYOE "Yeah, I know you did. Here, take this granola bar, I got you one too."
ARIEN "Thanks, Rinyoe. Also, do you have any clothes that fit me?"
RINYOE "Yeah, I probably do. What are you looking for?"
ARIEN "Just a hoodie and jeans, I'll keep my original shirt on."

RINYOE "Bet, I definitely have clothes that fit you. Give me like 2 minutes."
ARIEN "Take your time dude!"
Rinyoe went back into his room searching for clothes for Arien and Arien went on his phone and checked if Lonora sent him a message yet.

"Hey, Arien. You up yet?" - LONORA
"Yeah, also do you have any cologne or perfume?" - ARIEN
"Why?" - LONORA
"So all the girls will fall for me." - ARIEN
"Mhm, sure. But I have strawberry and blueberry pancakes. Or, vanilla. Which one?" - LONORA
"Real talk though, I'll take blueberry pancakes." - ARIEN
"Sweet, I'll give you it when we all meet up." - LONORA

Rinyoe walked back from his room and gave Arien the right pair of clothes that he needed to go outside today. Arien went to the bathroom to change and to also brush his teeth, his hair was also messy but he didn't really care too much.

Before Rinyoe knew it, Arien was out of the bathroom and looked as fresh as ever. The only thing that was missing was his signature scent, blueberry pancakes. Which was always from Lonora, surprisingly she hasn't bought him his own cologne for that yet.

RINYOE "Nice! Look at you, looking clean as shit."
ARIEN "It's just in my nature but you can continue to compliment me if you'd like."
RINYOE "Your big ass ego, anyways you ready to go?"

ARIEN "Yeah, we should get going anyway it's already..." he said checking his phone.
"6:50 AM?!"

Before anything else happened, they both quickly got on their shoes and were honestly running to the academy. They had 10 minutes to get to training or their powers would be restrained for the rest of the day. That's when Arien got a text from Xvyn while running with Rinyoe all the way down the sidewalk.

"Dude, you guys need to hurry up and get here before you get in trouble!" - XVYN
"We're running, you guys better have water by the time we get there." - ARIEN

"You're so lucky there's one for all four of us." - XVYN
"Sweet! Nice to know." - ARIEN
"Enough texting, more running." - XVYN

"Right, see you." - ARIEN

Arien and Rinyoe were still running except they both had realized something.
ARIEN "Rinyoe, can't you speed us up with your lightning?"
RINYOE "Shit, I completely forgot about that skill. Stand still."
Rinyoe used his lightning on his hand and drifted it onto Arien's shoes. After that, he used a lightning bolt and turned it into a rope and tied it around Arien leaving a little bit of the rope so he can hold on to him while he runs.
ARIEN "You sure you'll be fine?"
RINYOE "Trust me, now go to the academy."
At first, it was unsettling but then Arien started running quite literally at the speed of light, they were at Vinxia Academy but unexpectedly Rinyoe let go without warning because he had to catch his breath.
