Chapter Two: More Cushion for the Pushing and Sweet Pig

Jessica's P.O.V

Waking up this morning was easier than I thought. I guess it was because I was in a new state. I couldn't wait to explore my new surroundings. I brought out a pair of white shorts and a grey shirt that had New York Story written across it. I grabbed my grey plaid shirt to wrap around my waist. I slipped my grey TOMS next to my outfit on the bed. I brought all six of the beanies I wanted to bring on the trip. I had an obsession with beanies since two years ago. I was never the girly girl. I hated the color pink and never wore dresses. If I couldn't wear jeans to where I was going then I wasn't going.

I had a grey beanie but it was a different shade. I had a black beanie that said Shade on it with white coloring. A white one, purple one, blue one, and my all time favorite one was my black that said bad hair day. I decided to wear my favorite today.

I brush my teeth and put on more deodorant. I brush out my hair and curl it slightly to bring out my natural curls. I swipe some mascara on my already long lashes. I sit on my beanie in its rightful spot on the top of my head. I change out of my pajamas and change into my outfit that I picked. I slip on my shoes and grab my money and phone.

The door opens and a fully dressed Taylor walks in. She has a big grin on her face.

"Hey, I was wondering where you were when I woke up." I state, eyeing her up and down.

Her black hair was in a ponytail and she had little to no makeup on. She had a white tank that said Selfie on it. She had on blue jean shorts with rips on them. She had a grey sweater to tie the outfit together. She had black vans on her feet.

"Damn girl! You look good!" She compliments me. I do a little twirl smiling at her.

"Tay, you don't look so bad yourself." I say to my best friend. "Let's go get some breakfast before Mr. Turner blows a gasket. You know how he is when we are late. We have already been late twice."

"Okay babe." She turns and opens the door. We walk out of the room, successfully shutting and locking the door behind us. I loop on my arm around Taylor's and we walk toward the elevator. I push down the circular button that had down arrow on it.

"I can't wait until all the school activities are over, so we can have our own time. What do you want to do? Check out the mall, boys, or the beach?" Taylor ask, looking over at me.
