It had been around a week since Hannah's unexpected invitation to Cody Choi's party, and the bell had chimed, signalling the end of last period. Since Tia and Hannah didn't share the same class, they had mutually decided to reunite at the front gate upon their school's departure.

Hannah walked silently out of class, a thousand anxious thoughts corrupting her usually optimistic mind. As she approached the meeting point, she noticed Tia standing there. She seemed to be fidgeting with her fingers, she looked as if she was internally debating something. Hannah approached her brunette best friend with a smile, offering reassurance. "You good?" She questioned, a hint of worry in her eyes. Tia didn't say anything, she merely turned to Hannah and nodded with affirmation. After a few seconds, she broke her silence. "I'm fine, just need a cig is all."

Hannah nodded in understanding. She knew Tia smoked, but one thing she loved about her is that no matter how much she craved it, she refused to ever intoxicate herself like that in front of Hannah. It never went unnoticed or unappreciated. "Ah." Hannah exclaimed, signalling her compassion with a sympathetic face. "I'll be fine, I'm more worried about you though." As Tia spoke, Hannah's face morphed into an expression that displayed prominent confusion. Tia took note of this. "I mean, this is like the first party you've gone to that has no parents and tons of booze." She took a moment to pause. "Alongside other things." Upon Tia's clarification, Hannah caught on as to what her friend was indirectly asking. "I'll be okay. I have you and James so as Cody said, I won't be that lonely." She confessed, an assuring look on her face.

Tia knew that Hannah would be fine, and even if she wasn't, she knew not to pry. She simply smiled at her blonde haired best friend and changed the topic of conversation. "Anyways, we should head off now. We only have like a few hours to get ready." Tia suggested, leading Hannah to her black Jeep. The interior of the car smelled of vanilla, and she had cute little decorations scattered about.

Tia connected her phone to her car's Bluetooth system and put on her favourite playlist. There was a mixture of rock, metal, and a few pop songs in there. On the way to Tia's, the girls seemed to just scream out the lyrics to every song. Even though it wasn't the type of music Hannah would listen to if she was on her own, Tia had driven her around so many times it was to the point where it had sort of grown on her.

Around maybe 20 minutes later, Tia had pulled into her driveway and the two girls were now walking up to the front door. The brunette's keys jingled as she opened the door, however they were greeted with a dark house and total silence. "My mother's out of town for work this week, so we have the house to ourselves." She beamed, excited to bask in her teenaged freedom. Hannah returned her comment with a smile and followed her as Tia walked inside.

Throughout the 10 or so years the girls had known each other, Hannah had become very familiar and comfortable at Tia's house. She got along well with her mother, and sometimes she'd just hang out there even if Tia was absent. Narcissa, Tia's mother, viewed Hannah as a second daughter.

An hour or so had passed, and the two freshly showered girls were trying to figure out what to wear. Tia had a closet that had some particularly revealing pieces, so Hannah tried her best to stick to the modest section. She knew she'd have maybe a drink or two, but she didn't want to defile her clothing regime and her no alcohol policy all in one night. After rummaging for around maybe 20 minutes or so, she found the perfect thing. A long, baby pink dress with intricate floral designs scattered about the soft, polyester material. She paired this with a pair beige heels that had two strings that wrapped around her legs. She allowed her long, blonde hair to cascade freely down her back. Hannah wasn't one to wear a full face of makeup, so she settled for a natural look that consisted of the basics, paired with some falsies that Tia had convinced her to wear.

Tia had a more provocative approach to her outlift. She wore a short, black dress that hugged her waist paired with a matching black puffer jacket. She wore a set of white air force ones. Her hair was up, styled with a golden hair claw and two strands of hair framing her face. She wore a heavier face of makeup than Hannah. However, not unlike Hannah, Tia wore some dramatic false lashes.

The two teenagers modelled their looks, and they both made some finishing touches where it was needed. By the end of it, they were almost completely obsessed with themselves. In their eyes, they weren't teenagers, they were goddesses. Tia sent a quick text to James, alerting him that they were ready when he was. Whilst they waited on his arrival, the pair made their way into the kitchen, where Tia pulled a raspberry cruiser out of the fridge. It hissed slightly when she twisted off the cap.

"Are you getting drunk right now? Like before we even get there?!" Hannah questioned with worry. "No, I'm just having a few pre drinks. All the alcohol I will actually be drinking is in an esky at the moment." She gestured to a moderately sized bright blue container with a white lid that was situated on top of her deep freezer. Hannah approached it, opening it to see what was on Tia's drink menu for tonight. She stared at the array of ice decorated alcohol that sat in the esky, her mouth agape. "Are you seriously going to drink all of that in one night?" She asked, looking at Tia with a shocked yet concerned look on her face. "Probably not all of it, but I'd rather have enough to get me absolutely hammered than barely have enough at all." She confessed, grabbing another cruiser out of the fridge and placing it on the table. She then turned her attention back to the fridge and grabbed the remaining bottles out as she walked over to the esky and placed them inside.

Hannah was eyeing the unopened cruiser on the table. It sat there, awaiting Tia's touch. "You can have it if you want." Tia offered, noticing Hannah's fixation on the frost covered beverage. Hannah shook her head. "I couldn't possibly. You know how I am, I don't want to drink too much." She said, her eyes narrowing with disappointment. Tia could see she really wanted at least a little taste of the forbidden fruity drink, so she held out the opened bottle she had in her hand. "What if you took a sip of this one? It wouldn't be nearly enough to get you drunk, but it might at least calm your nerves just a little."

Hannah saw no fault in Tia's logic, so she nodded with a smile and held out her hand to receive the glass bottle. She took a swig, the raspberry taste settling in nicely on her tongue. She immediately took a liking to it. The illicit, crimson red liquid danced its way down her throat comfortably. Tia then offered her the rest of the bottle as there was only around a quarter or so of it left. Hannah obliged.

Not long after, the girls heard a honk coming from outside. "That'll be James." Tia spoke, grabbing her esky and leading herself and Hannah towards the front door, locking it as they stepped out of the frame. The pair walked up to the boy's car, Hannah getting in the front so Tia could sit with her esky. "You're a little too obsessed with alcohol, Tia." James regarded with a chuckle as he pulled out the driveway. "Oh hush up! Don't blame me for wanting to have a good time." She giggled back, grabbing a small Jacks and Coke can from the esky and flipping up the tab.

It took James around 30 or so minutes to get to Cody's, and by the time they arrived, they heard music blasting. Tia and James got out of the car, followed by a slightly less anxious Hannah. Even though her nerves weren't as bad as before, she still felt slightly scared.
