Y/n's Pov:

Jaren and I walked in the park, taking in all of the snowy scenery. And while Jaren was looking away, I made a couple of snow ball and put it in my pocket.

"Jaren, look! There's a baby deer over there," I said, pointing in the distance.

"Ooh, where?"

Jaren turned around, and I took the opportunity to throw a snowball at the back of his head.

"What was that? Did snow just fall on me from a tree?"

Jaren looked confused.

I tried to keep in my laughter as I replied to him.

" Oh, it was nothing. Don't worry about it. "

We continued walking, and a few seconds later, I threw another snowball at Jaren's face, laughing at his now snow-covered face and slightly messy hair.

" Oh laugh it up "

He rolled his eyes with his face slightly red from the cold of the snow. My laughter started to die down, but I couldn't resist throwing one more snowball at him.

" Okay that's it. "

He started to walk away from me as I was still laughing.

"Look, Jaren, I'm sorry. I'll stop," I said, walking up to him. He looked at me with a somewhat annoyed expression, but sighed and side hugged me.

" It's okay. Apology accepted," he said, as he covering my face with some snow he had in his pocket.

"You know what? That's fair," Jaren laughed at my now snow covered face as I laughed with him.

After a little while, we found a tree to sit under. Once Jaren sat down, he looked back to where I was standing but didn't see me.

" Y/n? "

He looked around the snowy tree, trying to find me.

" Where did you go? "

Hiding above in the tree branches, I see Jaren trying to find me as I giggle at his confusion.

" I can hear you, you know. "

"I know that, but aside from that, do you remember when we first met as kids?"

" That's a weird question to ask right now but, yeah, we met when we were about probably ten or so. "

" No, I mean, do you remember were and how we met? " I said as sit on one of the branches, swinging my dangling legs back and forth.

" Well I remember that I was upset about something that happened at school and I didn't want to go home yet, so I went to the park. It was fall at the time, so the ground was covered in orange and brown leaves. And then I found a random tree to sit under. "

Y/n's Pov:

I sat in a tree as per usual, but today it was one of the best days ever. It wasn't to cold outside, today, so my parents let me go to the park by myself. And I think I finally found it the perfect tree.

The branches aren't too thin, so I can climb on them. And there big enough so I can sit on them without sliding off. I wanted to continue climbing up to the top of the tree, but then I heard the sound of leaves crunching below me.

I looked down and surprisingly saw a boy, their. Usually, it's just random dogs running around, and people wanting me to get down from the tree because they say it's " dangerous " up here.
