The next morning, I wake up with a groan as light hits me in my eyes.

I sit up, stretching like a cat almost before seeing the band on my wrist.

With the three badges.

The three Morphers...

It was real!

I look behind me, buzzing with energy and see Lion on my pillow.

I get off the bed and literally jump with joy, trying not to cheer.

I had an extra pip in my step as I got ready for the day, putting Lion in my pocket. Not even the idea of school could drag me down, though, as I got closer to school, I forced my face into a calmer and more worried look.

Bring back the scaredy cat weakling face for the day.

Let it fade in the afternoon.

---

My back slams into a locker, denting it inwards as I groan, not from pain but from the fact I'm going to be beaten up again.

I look up, hair covering my eyes as I take in who hit me.

Ibuki Sora.

Quirk: Reflex Acceleration.

It allows him to accelerate his moves as long as they're short and precise.

Drawback: Flinching can cause strain on muscle and bones.

A pretty good Quirk all things considered, that drawback is pretty over the top though.

As he hits me, I notice his hits not doing as much damage as they did last week.

Sure they didn't do too much anyways but it feels like he's high diving me at most.

A sense of calm washes over me and I feel myself fill with confidence Incan tell isn't my own, then my body moved without my permission.

I chuckle, and stand up as he tries to hit me again.

"You've grown soft Ibuki, I barely felt those" I stand to my full height, rather than the regular curling in on myself, mildly pleased to see I match his height. "Let me show you a real kick"

And my leg flashes up in a high kick, lightly resting on his Adams apple. A drop of sweat rolls from his forehead as he gulps.

"Had that used my full strength you'd be dead, and you wouldn't even know how... Stay away from me or I might just do it next time"

I lower my foot and he moves out of range and turns, stumbling as he rushes down the hall in fear.

The confidence leaves me and I groan, now they'll be even angrier.

I look to my wrist and see the Fire Kanji glowing a soft red.

I think I just found my teacher.

The day continues without incident and I manage to leave before Bakugo, who looks like he's about to blow, can confront me.

I return to the beach, moving to a cleared area by the surf for steady ground.

"Alright Samurizer, teach me what you got" I say, taking the Morpher off my wrist and it regrows.

"Go Go Samurai!" I press the button and paint the Kanji, swiping into Ranger form.

"Red Samurai Ranger, ready!" I speak unconsciously again.
