Chapter 5

"What did the kiss mean to you.."

Danielles POV:

"I-I uh.." I was at a loss for words, I wanted to say that it meant nothing to me but I couldn't.

"Answer me." I couldn't look at her in the eye. I could feel her eyes piercing me. It was difficult to let go of her grip but I tried to shove her away. Her grip on me tightened

"Fucking answer me!"

"Let fucking go first!" I replied angrily

She stared me up and down before letting go of me. I tried turning away but she grabbed my shoulder and pinned me with force. I could tell she was mad but I was even more angry at her. How could she do that to ME?

She suddenly got close which made my heart race some why.

"Maybe if I kiss you, you would tell me."

"H-HUH?!"

That's when she kissed me aggressively. She put her hand on my waist and pulled me close to her. My whole entire face became a bright red colour, and I can't deny, her kissing me felt so good..WAIT WHAT NO, NO IT DOESN'T. I tried pulling away but my body denied it and moved closer to her and I kissed her back. I was about to hit my head against the wall but I hit it off of Haerin's hand. My body finally listened to me and pushed her off.

She fell on the grass and looked dumbfounded. I walked away from her while gasping for air. My heart was beating insanely fast and my stomach was some why in knots. I touched my lips and I could still feel the sensation of her kissing me..

I heard 2 gasps behind the wall we were at. I turned to look at who was gasping and I shouldn't be surprised but I was. It was no other than Minji and Hanni. They both shrieked at seeing me turn to face them. I shoved passed them angrily and kept walking.

"Danielleee! Where you going, tell us what happened between you two."
"Yeah! Are you guys with each other now or what?"

I froze at that and turned to face them blushing even harder some why. I looked behind them where I saw Haerin looking blank as usual but her cheeks had a tint of red to them. She noticed the both of them infront of her and looked shocked.

"What are YOU two doing here?!"

"AH! Haerin.. I-It's nothing we were just walking by when-"

"Hanni there's no point in lying. They both know we were here listening into their 'convo' " Minji said while winking at Haerin which made my blood boil some why.

Hanni saw than I clenched my fist and oo'd

"Ooooo~ Danielle's madd!"

"SHUT UP HANNI!" Shit. I said that way louder than supposed.

Haerins POV:

"SHUT UP HANNI!"

I turned to where I heard Danielle scream, I was worried for her but I have no clue why..

Minji saw that and smirked at me.
"Scared for your girlfriend Haerin-ah?"

"She's not my girlfriend Minji.!" I replied feeling my cheeks burn up "What about you? Knowing how clingy and protective you are over Hanni."

"S-She's not my girlfriend..Atleast not for now.."

"Huh?"

I could tell that she immediately regreted saying that since she became embarrassed. Wait. MINJI LIKES HANNI?!

"Hold up..Do you like Hanni?"

"Maybe..."

"Then ask her out."

"I can't, She probably doesn't like me."

"So? Ask her out and see what happens, And trust me she talks about you a lottt"

By saying that Minji immediately lit up.

"Actually?!" She said excitedly

I nodded to her. Until I could say anything else Minji was already gone dragging Hanni away. Wait..Where's Danielle? Looking around I couldn't find her anywhere. I decided to not disturb Minji and Hanni so I left to look for her. I still have some unanswered questions.. but why did I kiss her..

I went back inside the school, guessing that recess started since there were people everywhere. I heard my phone buzz so I opened it. I saw a message from an unknown number.

I didn't want to but some why my heart told me to go there.

I started walking there. Going in I saw.. Danielle?

I could tell she heard me walk in and turned around. My cheeks burned up seeing her beauty once more.

"Haerin.. Listen I know that this is unnatural counting that we despise eachother but. I want to make it up to you.

"Huh?"

"You heard me! I-I'm inviting you Minji and Hanni to my house after school! " She said nervously.

"I-I but why? As you said, We despise eachother so it's stupid to do that after 4 years." I replied trying not to panic.

"It's to get closer to eachother! So.. Would you like to come?"

"Sure.. Only if Hanni and Minji will be there."

"REALLY!?"

I saw her face light up and she looked me in the eye which cause my cheeks to turn even more red. She came up and hugged me which made me go full on red.
"B-but why. After what happened, Isn't this weird or sudden? Like personally I wouldn't even go near you.." I said feeling my heart race

She stopped hugging me and looked up at me with the most softest gaze ever.

"Well.. Hanni told me that it's the best way to be friends with you, from being enemies to friends." She said while smiling.

"Wait, so It was you who messaged me?"

She giggled and nodded.

"Where'd you get my phone number?.."

"Hanni! Who else?"

I looked away from her in case she saw me blush. But the thought wouldn't leave my head.. Why is she so nice all of a sudden and so friendly with me. ESPECIALLY after what happened.

I got lost in my thoughts until I felt something warm on my cheek. WAIT SHE KISSED MY CHEEK.

I looked back at her quickly and I stared at her. She just smiled in return and left me. What. The. Fuck.

"See you after school Haeri~"

That made me turn back to her so quickly. She saw how shocked I looked at winked in return.
