Frenemies? (Daerin)

Chapter 8

Haerin's POV:

I woke up to hard rain pouring outside, I tried getting up but I felt something on me.. I looked down and saw Danielle?! Fuck fuck this isn't the time to blush Haerin get yourself together!

I remembered how nice yesterday was, watching a movie with her.. kissing her.. cuddling..

I looked down on Danielle sleeping so ever peacefully, and god was she pretty.. I was really tired though so I decided to go back to sleep, that's when I heard a noise downstairs. I was scared for Danielle's safety so I tried to move her off me. Luckily she wasn't heavy so it was easy to move her. I was about to go and open the door when I heard a soft voice behind me.

"Where are you going?..." I heard a soft whisper behind me.

Turning around I saw Danielle looking at me sadly but also tired

"I-I just heard noise mdownstairs so I'm going to go check on what happened."

She got up and walked towards me. My heart is racing once again..

She looked at me in the eyes and smiled. My whole entire body stopped working, she got closer to me and hugged me. My body started working again and my instinct told me to hug her back. Her scent had a small bit of strawberry and vanilla mixed with coffee which was calming. She broke the hug and I wished we could've stayed in that position a little bit more..

She cupped my cheek and then went back.

"Did you forget about Hanni and Minji down there? Just be sure to come back, I won't be able to sleep.." She giggled

That one sentence turned me such a bright red colour that it was embarrassing.

I nodded to her in return and then left. I walked downstairs and started to hear something close to a sob or a cry and reassuring words. I walked faster down, making sure not to trip and fall. When I got to the bottom I turned the lights on.

I saw that Minji was sobbing and that Hanni was the one hugging her and rubbing her back.

I walked up to them, not asking what happened but just looked at them.

"Go get water Haerin"

I nodded and did as she asked. I looked around which I assumed was the kitchen and luckily I found a glass near the sink. I filled it up with water and handed it to Minji which was shaking while trying to hold it. Hanni helped her and I decided to get Danielle over here since she was closer friends with her than any of us.

"I'll be back Han, alright?" I told her trying to sound as soft and calm as possible. She nodded to me and I went up to Danielles room.
