Jeffrey's Squawky Family Reunion

(During early morning at Jeffrey's house)

(Jeffery is currently chilling on the living room couch as his father sits in a recliner across from him and his mother is pacing back and fourth behind the couch)

Diane: (stressed) We've got so much going on today...

(Jeffery and his Father look at each other confused and shrugs)

Phillip: What's going on, hun?

Dian: I'm supposed to have a mild family reunion today and there's some people coming over who I really don't want.

Phillip: Okay? So don't invite them?

Dian: (grits) They're already on there way. (Normal) That's the problem.

Jeffery: (not knowing what to think) I think I'm gonna step out for this one.

Dian: (blunt) Good idea.

(The scene follows Jeffery as he's outside in the middle of the suburbs dirt path)

(Three familiar birds on gears arrive)

Jet: Hey, check this pipsqueak out.

Wave: Jet! That's my nephew! (Hops off gear)

(Wave then goes to give Jeffery a big hug, partially squishing his face)

Jeffery: Hey, Aunt Wave.

Wave: Wow! (Crouches) You've grown so much! You were yay high when I last saw you.

Jeffery: (awkward) Perks of aging, I guess...

Wave: (sighs) Listen I know your mother doesn't like me, and she doesn't want you to hang out with me-...

Jeffery: I'm perfectly fine with you, it's just I don't know how mom is going to react.

(Before Wave could get a word in, her attention is divided to a high pitch whirring as a purple blur stops at Jeffery)

Niki: Hey, Jeffery. (Realizes Wave and eyes shine) Wave?!

Jeffery: Wait... What?

Wave: (generally confused) Niki? (Stands) Okay, what is going on?

Niki: What do you mean?

Wave: You know my nephew?

Jeffery: (turn head slowly) You know my aunt?

Niki: (trying to piece the puzzles while wide eyed) Wait... So you two are related?

Both: Yeah...

Niki: This has become a lot smaller ocean than I thought.

Wave: Okay, how do you know Jeffery?

Jeffery: And how do you know-

Niki: (breaks the sentence) De-dedeh. One question at a time.

Wave: (crosses arms) Alright, start off with mine.

Niki: I date your nephew. We've been dating for like a few months now.

Jeffery: Now mine.

Niki: Okay, remember when, Tails, Sonic, and I went to the mainland, to that whole tech city?

Jeffery: (raises eye brow) Yeah?

Niki: Well, it turns out that Sonic knew your aunt on a personal level and that's how I met Wave.

Jeffery: (stares off for a few seconds and then freaks) Sonic knows my aunt?!

Niki: (blunt) Yeah, like I said, a small world this has become.
