AMANDA BLACKHOOD
It has been two days I tried waking them up but nothing worked, I gave up o cried till no more tears could fall from my eyes the only thing I could do was to sleep between my parents pretending I was having a good happy dream that we were all in a deep sleep,the only thing I hope is time goes first so I can die of hunger.
For this two nights consecutively when I was a sleep I saw my parents walking towards me as I sit in the corner of the room behind them was bright light while the death angel follows them, mommy stretched her hand for me I try to catch it but she moves back I try again she moves further I stop just to look at them mommy wears a smile and tears in her eyes while daddy takes hold of mommy's hand ,they turn returning back to the light leaving me with the death angel saying that its not my right time and like that he dissappear making me wakeup from the dream.
I wake up hearing a large crush outside, I stand up moving to the window, I never noticed we were in an abandoned factory I look outside it was filled with news reporters as man with army uniform surrounded with soldiers talked " as the president promised this factory will be reborn it will be better than it was before providing job opportunities and best products for our citizens in and outside the country and it is our job to make its protected" he said with a heavy Italian accent. "Now if you excuse us we have to survey the safety of this building" he added excusing himself irun to the conner lay my head on my knees closing my eyes.
The door opens I don't raise my head I hug myself tighter the footsteps increases " there dead " one of his men said the footsteps stop infront of me " Hey young girl "a man says I don't lift my head " go away" I answer back "Hey I'm not here to hurt you I want to save you" he said I raise my head for my eyes to meet his Hazel eyes he looked same age as my father but had a heavy Italian accent " I am Jamal and you are"he asked as he smiles " Amanda Blackhood" i answer more like a wisper bur enough for him to hear " mhh I see do you know who did this" Jamal asked pointing to my parents bodies "I don't know I only know one guy named Jeremy" I answer back "now listen I want you to trust me i'll take you to a safer place an orphanage you will meet new friends" Jamal says a tear falls as I wipe it away I'm now an orphan " ok but promise me you'll burry my pare first " I said " I promise " he answers back stretching his hand for me, I take it standing up facing my parents for the last time and that's when I promised myself to pay for what they did to my parents " burry them " that's the last word Jamal said closing the door, I was free.
I drop from Jamal's car he led the way as his men followed in army outfit,I discovered he is the Cheif of defence staff in Italy Army " the rest remain here mateo and aldo follow me" he ordered as we got in the gate getting introduced to a thick forest it got creeper as we moved deeper in it after 10 minutes of walking I finally saw buildings, we walk to one of the buildings he opens the door with a key as I follow Mateo and Aldo at my back, he takes his sit I bow my head down Jamal said its a sign of respect in Italy but it seems like slavery
A knock is heard from the door " come in" jamal says as the door opens. I don't turn I keep my gaze down the person moves next to me I look at his shoes there boyish and seems like same age as me " Enzo what are you doing here" Jamal asks " I just came to check on you its been long" Enzo says Jamal stands up moving to him " why care huh,how many times should I tell you I don't care" jamal Yells taking a strong grip of his sons chin I shake to his voice whodoes this to his on child " cause your my father and I care about you " Enzo answers only for Jamal to push him down as he falls
I move to Enzo " are you okay" I ask hiz gaze turns from his father to mine , his shinning blue eyes meet my brown eyes
I smile as I see his lips moving up smilling he looks nothing like his father
he nods ,suddenly I feel a hard grip on my hand I turn to meet Jamal's angry face " Enzo get out of here and call Veronica " he says Enzo stands up then bows looking at me for the last time as he goes for the door. I turn to Jamal " well Amanda we have few rules here you will learn with time buy first rule feelings such as love,mercy or happiness are not allowed what we are supposed to feel is pain and hate" Jamal says I just nod " if you want to live peacefully stay away from Enzo or you will be testing my anger" Jamal said as the door opens introducing a young girl she seemed two years older than me but we have similar body structures " sir" she says " yes Veronica show her around
and lend her some of the uniforms for the meantime "Jamal says " ok sir" she says as she bows gesturing me to follow I bow taking the exit
"After an hour tour I came to discover this place is big than I thought " so this is like an orphanage " I ask making her stop walking she turns to face me " that's what he told you that's what he said to all of us that its just an orphanage but the truth its the worst place for children we are trained to become the best and escape death,he believes if you escaped death once you can do it a million times more welcome to HELL sister" Veronica said , but why Is Enzo here why does he treat him so harshly I asked myself. I focus on Veronica observing her She was beautiful even at her young age she got looks that could kill she had brown eyes and her hair was a military cut off I touch my hair " don't worry tomorrow it will be cut off,now let's meet the others"
Veronica said taking my hand.
She opens the door and the first thing to spot were double decker beds we get in only to see eight boys , seven surrounded one bed while playing cards
and the other boy Enzo was sharpening
his knives " Hey guys meet Amanda" she shouted catching attention, I was only focused on Enzo he turned to me then faced away " so meet Chase, lorenzo, Ryan, Theo, luca,Harlold and Alexander
Veronica said as I shaked there hands
"Amd that is " Veronica said"Enzo Luciano I know" I interrupted her I turn to face him only to find him walking towards me my heart beats first "Nice to meet you Amanda Blackhood " Enzo said " same Enzo Luciano" I said back
