(Laura's POV)
I sit at the table while my leg bounces up and down from anxiety. I'm really anxious right now.
"Laura can you sit still? I'm getting nervous myself." Duke says. "Sorry it's just i'm scared, why would he lie? Why?" I ask. "Maybe he didn't want you to think he was a fuckboy? And he changed so that you didn't see him as one? I don't know but you'll find out." Lin reassures me.
Duke knew him before we got out.
"Duke, did you know that he was a fuckboy?" I ask. "No, i barely talked to him. I mean, we were just school mates." He explains.
I see him coming with his beautiful blonde hair covering a bit of his eyes. Okay Laura focus.
"Hey Laura." He smiled. "Hi, uhm can i talk to you for a second?" I ask going straight to the point. "Sure, it seems serious." He chuckles nervously.
We go in the halls to talk.
"Okay so don't get me wrong but a girl told me that uh how do i say this properly, that you're a fuckboy." I blurt. "And that you got with almost the whole cheerleading team. So my question is... did you lie to me?" I ask.
He stares a second at me and then laughs. He thinks this is funny. Son of bitch.
"Who told you that?" He asks. "Your ex. She has blonde highlights, deep blue eyes, a bit taller than me and skinny." I describe.
"Oh that's Liv, she's indeed my ex. We broke up on bad terms and i think she's just not over me yet. She was my last relationship. She lied, i didn't." He tells.
I feel relieved but why did that girl lie?
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have assumed it was true." I apologize. "Don't worry about it. I'm happy you told me." He smiles.
He pulls me into a kiss and wraps his hands around my waist. I place my hands on the back of his head feeling his fluffy soft hair.
"Can you come over tonight?" He mumbles against my lips. "No, come over at my place. My mom isn't home until 9 pm." I tell.
We kiss again. He grabs my ass with both hands and i let out a soft moan against his lips.
"We should probably get going back to the cafeteria." I say. He nods.
He grabs my hand leading me to the door. We walk back to our table and i see and even feel eyes on me.
Motherfuckers.
We got back at the table and i give Lin an assuring nod.
-
We are eating our lunch and suddenly i see people running out of the cafeteria and people screaming.
"What the fuck is happening?" Duke asks. "I think there's a fight going on." Lin says.
I look around and i can't find Chase. If there's a fight he's the first person to be there.
"Fucking hell." I mutter. I stand up and speed walk to the hall. "Laura wait!" Lin screams and runs behind me.
"Laura what do you think you're doing?" Lin asks. "The fight, i think i know who is fighting." I tell.
She raises her eyebrow staring in non believe. "Are you a medium or something?" She asks. "Chase is always the first to be in fights." I explain.
We reach the hall and see a crowd of people. I push myself through.
I see Chase and Chris fighting. Chase seems to win.
I also see Amanda next to them and i forgot how much of a highclass bitch she is. I scrunch my nose in disgust and try to pull them apart.
