rayan's pov:
i drafted a mail to the hr department asking them to only hire a male assistant for me. well, they will probably think i am gay but yeah.
i am going back home. for 3 days.
it's risky because i can't let nora know about this. i am just gonna go, meet my mom and sister and be back.
as much as i miss nora, i miss my mother. and i know my mother misses me too.
flight tomorrow.
the next day:
ruhi's pov:
i just came back home. i hate exams.
gonna brush my teeth and have a bath and sleep. yay. favourite part of my day.
*door bell rings*
oh god, my parents are sleeping, i gotta check this one.
i open the door and-
"rayan youu???" i am about to cry.
i hugged him. i missed him so much.
"i missed you" i said.
"i missed you too ruhi" he said while he kissed my forehead.
"nora is gonna be very happy-" i tell and he cut me mid sentence.
"nora is not going to know about this. am i clear?" he said strictly.
hahahaha you think.
"yes, sure" i said.
i have seen nora crying and dying since 2 years. ofcourse she's gonna know.
our mom woke up, i guess we were loud.
rayan hugged her. she started crying.
"stay away from me. you disowned me" she said. she was actually very hurt because he just changed his number and didn't contact anyone from our family. i tried my best to console mom but she was missing him so much.
"mom, i am so sorry, but what I'd done was necessary. for nora. she got into coma because of me, i had to stay away from her. you know mom, i love her" rayan told mom.
"it's all my mistake. i shouldn't have gotten you married to that problem. ever since she's gotten into your life, she just made you miserable" mom started crying.
rayan felt bad. me too. nora's my bestfriend since my childhood.
"mom, please " rayan told her.
"shut up" mom said.
"so your son is a millionaire now" rayan said.

mom was shocked. me too.
"i am proud of you" mom said while they hugged again.
"i am proud of you too" i said.
rayan smiled a little and said "so mom, now i am independent enough to take care of you and ruhi, now you don't have to stay with your abusive husband"
"shut up, he's your father, he hits me because he loves me" mom said.
i am at my limit with this woman.
rayan sighed and went upstairs to his room.
his room was covered in dust.
if i were him, I'd have called and waited for househelp. but he's he.
