From the Shittim Chest, Arona told to Sensei to get up. It was half an hour before the start of his workday.
''I'm...'' He gave a long yawn, ''awake..."
''Sensei, you sound strange. Are you all right?''
''No...'' sensei's eyes looked like a pair of starry eggs, ''I'm wasted...''
''Ah?''
''I can't move...''
''What?... Sensei?... Sensei?!... Sensei, are you sick? Does something hurt? Ahhh... Who should I call to? Who do I call? Hang on sensei, hang on!''
''Arona, Arona... Don't worry... I'll be fine... I'm just very tired... The damn special that Hifumi and Azusa insisted so much that I watch was a marathon... Who would think of doing a marathon on Wednesday?''
''Are you really okay?''
''Yes...'' He gave her a tired smile passing his index finger over Arona's forehead on the Shittim Chest screen, ''What do we have for today?''
''Let's see... Today we have to... Review profiles for potential new recruits, a couple of appointments for support classes at Trinity, the weekly meeting with Rin... That would be in the morning. In the afternoon there's the follow-up visit to the clubs of...'' A snore interrupted her, ''Sensei, Sensei! Wake up!''
''Just five more minutes...''
Even under Arona's insistent voice asking him to get up, Sensei was able to take a nap for about ten minutes. Feeling a bit livelier, he washed his face, cleaned his teeth, fixed his hair, changed his clothes and perfumed.
''Right on, champ! Arona, it doesn't look like I stayed up all night, does it?'' Sensei admired himself in the mirror.
''Sure! You look good. Although... If it weren't for the dark circles under your eyes, you could pass completely unnoticed.''
''Mm... I think they give me a more mature look... But, if it's a problem...'' He took out some dark glasses, ''How about it?''
''You look like someone I wouldn't want to meet at night.''
''Very funny.''
He left for his meeting with Rin who told him he looked pathetic. He didn't put his sunglasses back on. Once the meeting was over, he sent a message to the girls he was going to help study. He could save the recruiting for the end of the day. Trinity's girls were going to have a couple of days off because of the Eden Treaty and then they would go into exams, because of the attack, it ended up being delayed by a week. The girls who felt the worst prepared for the exam took advantage of the week's delay. He met Kazusa and Yoshimi in the same cafeteria, where Yoshimi almost knocked him out with macaroni and ended up winning the eating contest. They had a three-hour session of practice and clarification of doubts. At lunchtime, the girls and he said goodbye. On the way to Millennium he had a bite to eat. He had to go see the Veritas club, the Video Game Development club and the Paranormal Affairs club and then move to Valkyrie township and talk to the Public Safety club. The first club sensei had in mind to visit was the Veritas, but he was attacked with a hug.
''Sensei!'' A sweet, squeaky voice called out to him.
It was Momoi. She was hanging on Sensei and behind her came Midori and Alice.
''N-nee-chan! Don't bother Sensei!''
''The Game Development Department club. I don't see Yuzu... I guess she stayed in the club room.''
''No,'' Said Alice, ''She's here.''
''Here?! Where?''
Alice turned to show him the backpack she was carrying. From it, Yuzu peeked her head out.
