Venus is quite used to her name on magazines, billboards, and across social media. The woman was a walking icon. Whether it was for business, fashion, or feminism, Venus Walker's face was all over the media and had a huge following because of it. Venus isn't the type of person to react to social media, finding every platform rather toxic. But as her father once told her, "All press is good press."

But this one was debatable.

Venus sat at her desk that following Monday morning staring at her computer screen with wide eyes. Her heart was pounding in her chest and her jaw clenched tightly from the photo on her screen. Her perfectly styled face was extra red in anger and her lipstick smudged from biting down on her lower lip so violently. This is not how she imagined how the start of the week would start.

This morning she arrived at her office to a very distressed Amelia. 

The moment Venus parked her car in front of the building she was met with a very anxious assistant. That was when Venus knew something was wrong. Amelia kept it brief on the elevator ride up not wanting Venus to lash out in a metal box. Instead, Amelia informed her boss that it was all explained in an email she forwarded to her.

So now, Venus found herself sitting at her desk and glaring daggers at the screen resting on her glass desk.

The email forwarded from Amelia was from a teenage gossip-magazine requesting for a statement from Ms. Walker. But that wasn't what annoyed Venus. It was the attachment of a photo of her and Tom during Mr. Downey's lunch from a few days prior. The photo was taken without either of them noticing. The angle was over Robert's shoulder facing Venus and Tom who wore kind smiles but Venus was the only one who knew the anger behind the false smile. But the worst part about the photo was how oblivious it was on how Tom's hand was resting her lower back. The heading of the article was "Walker Finds Herself in a Love Triangle: Holland vs. Hill."  

Venus was agitated for numerous different reasons. 

She was angry that her and Holland's name were in the same sentence together, especially implying they had an intimate relationship. The mere thought of them being anything less than enemies repulsed her and made her want to gag. 

It also angered her of how this article practically publicizes this opportunity of partnership.

Robert announced to the media that he was searching for a partnership but he kept it secret to whom he was considering to divert rumours and scandals. Now that the media is aware Robert Downey is speaking to both companies, paparazzi is going to become more gruesome than ever. 

But the worst part was if the media knew about this partnership, that meant-

Venus jumped when her mobile phone began ringing face up on her desk beside her. Her heart froze when reading the name on the phone knowing this conversation was going to be anything except good before answering it. Exhaling through her mouth to compose herself, she pressed the answer button too quickly be met by a furious and agitated voice belonging to her father.

"VENUS OLIVA WALKER!" Her fathers voice boomed through the speaker. Even though the call was not on speaker she could hear his voice loud and clear. Venus shut her eyes mentally swearing to herself. "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!?" He questioned furiously.

"Dad-" She sighed.

"Going behind my back and risking the families company!? Do you understand how poorly this looks for the business! You getting all close to the Hollands is going to destroy numerous partnerships and could cost the business millions!" He interrupted and Venus allowed him too.

She knew better than to lash back at her angered dad. She has seen her father this angry only few times and knew the best way to approach this is by letting him say what he needs to say before arguing back. Putting the phone on speaker, she stared down at her phone illuminated by her fathers contact with her cheek between her teeth.
