It was a night of celebration and you had had a little too much to drink. As you stumbled out of the club, you saw a car waiting outside and assumed it was a taxi. Without even thinking, you opened the door and got in, collapsing into the backseat.
"Driver, take me home," you slurred, not bothering to look up.
The driver turned around and You were surprised to see your boyfriend Sunwoo behind the wheel.
"Sunwoo, you're a taxi driver now?" You asked, squinting at him in confusion.
Sunwoo burst out laughing, realizing that You were completely drunk and mistaking him for a taxi driver.
"No, babe, I'm not a taxi driver. I'm your boyfriend," Sunwoo replied, still chuckling.
Your eyes widened as you finally recognized Sunwoo. "Oh my god, Sunwoo! I thought you were a taxi driver," you said, laughing at yourself.
Sunwoo couldn't help but find the situation amusing. He drove You home and made sure you got inside safely. As he tucked you into bed, he couldn't resist teasing you a little.
"I'm glad I'm such a good taxi driver that you mistook me for one," Sunwoo joked, earning a playful punch from You.
The next morning, You woke up with a headache and a fuzzy memory of the previous night. As you looked around your room, you saw Sunwoo sleeping next to you and remembered the hilarious incident.
"Did I really mistake him for a taxi driver?" You thought to yourself, chuckling at the memory.
From that day on, Sunwoo made sure to wear his "boyfriend" hat more often, so that You wouldn't mistake him for a random stranger again. And you both shared a laugh every time you remembered the night You mistook Sunwoo.
