INNOCENT

donghyuck was strolling along the side walk, tightly gripping onto his backpack straps that were secured around his shoulders. staring down at his feet that waddled his way to school, his mind was already preoccupied with other things.

he suddenly was pulled into ones embrace, feeling the large weight pile themselves onto his back. he felt himself staggering, teering himself side to side as he tried to gain back his stable stance. "so, are you going to the party tonight?" renjun, donghyucks bestest friend in the entire world smirked through his words.

donghyuck halted his motion and whipped his head behind the two, scanning his surroundings. "phew that was close" donghyuck extended his arm, harshly jamming it into renjuns stomach. "ah fuck! what was that for?" renjun pressed onto his now aching abdomen that felt punctured by donghyucks force. "someone couldve heart junie! you know i need to keep my status" donghyuck stomped in place, his bottom lip sticking out as his face molded into a irresistible pout.

renjun scoffed, running his hands through his silky hair. "dont tell me youre still keeping that act up.." renjun stared into donghyucks eyes that just pleaded as guilty. "im surprised you are even able to keep your cool despite all those delinquents testing your buttons twenty-four seven" renjuns gaze shifted to the youngers sheepish smile that plastered all over his face.

"anyway, are you talking about the party johnny hyung forwarded to us? you best know im going" his sheepish grin, lifted right into a mischievous smirk. renjun just let out a light giggle. the two continued their walk towards their shit hole of a school as they chatted. "good to know, i think i might need those fishnets i lent you back today so i can wear them" renjun swayed his hips, colliding with the younger who was almost plunged right into the metal pole beside them.

"holy shit, save that for the bed" donghyuck grimaced in pain as he dramatically latched himself onto his aching hip, staggering himself as he cried out. "mom!" he spat out. renjun just rolled his eyes, nothing new, just donghyuck making a fool of himself.

"fix your act, we are almost at school and you dont want your 'perfect innocent image' to be damaged now do you" renjun shoved his petty grin right into donghyucks face, rolling his eyes right after. donghyuck just quickly ruffled his fluffy hair into place, dusting off his uniform to make sure he was presentable unlike somebody.

"donghyuck!" the short male stopped in his tracks, whipping his head to the side to meet with chenle who sprinted himself at the two who waited patiently. "lele! good morning" donghyuck chirped happily, waving his hands in the air as his bright smile beamed lighter than the sun itself.

chenle placed his hand in front of his face wincing. "donghyuck, tone it down, your smile is blinding me from its gorgeousness" chenle cooed, donghyuck couldnt help but to feel shy. he started to fidget with the hem of his uniform, giving renjun a dirty side eye as sounds of gagging interrupted his moment with chenle. "ill head to class now, good luck on exam reviews!" chenle giggled, he extended his arm out waving towards donghyuck and renjun as he walked inside the large building.

"ah shit i forgot about that" renjun groaned, folding himself in half as he washed his face with his palms. donghyuck just giggled, brushing his hand along renjuns back he then gestured the older to continue walking. "the bells gonna ring in a few, ill catch you later!" donghyuck scurried his way to his classroom. usually he was the first person in there, greeting everyone as they walked in but today was a different story as now he was the last to arrive.

"thats surprising donghyuck, usually you're the first to arrive" mr jeong quirked a brow, lightly tapping his stack of papers against his wooden desk to even them out. "sorry sir i just woke up late! busy studying.." donghyuck replied quickly, his tone being sweet and melodious to the ear. mr jeong just chuckled, "dont be sorry, you're here before the bell rang so thats all that matters. i was just concerned since usually its not like you." donghyuck nodded. "ah yeah its nothing serious!" donghyuck let out his cute animated giggle that everyone adored.

he bowed before excusing himself to his desk. the bell resonated throughout the empty halls. "alright ill start calling atten-" mr jeong was suddenly cut off by not one, but three students who slammed the sliding door open.

a gust of wind flew by from the sudden halt, gripping onto the door frame to stop themselves from sliding away. "mark, jeno, jaemin, late.. again" mr jeong didnt even have to glance at the boys who huddled at the door to know it was them. this was something that repeated day after day after day. "sorry sir, we'll be sure to be on time tomorrow" the three males bowed before quickly seating themselves down.

"they say that every time.." jisung, his seat mate just scoffed hearing their lame excuse flow out their mouths every single day. donghyuck just pouted. "its okay sungie, im sure they really dont mean to be late!" donghyuck who was too understanding just chimed in.

jungwoo and his seat mate sungchan just whipped their heads toward the the boy. "wah, donghyuck you are way too considerate. i mean its a reoccurring thing do you really think its unintentional?" jungwoo questioned, most peers around him chimed in as the audience was now his. donghyuck just hummed, nervously biting his bottom lip.

"lets try to be more understanding from now on, hehe" donghyuck giggled, showing off his beaming smile everyone cooed for. "he really is an angel isnt he?" one of the females, also known as jieun who is a major simp for donghyuck, cherished his simple gestures even if it was just sitting back in his chair cutely. "he really is!" another female pouted, grabbing ahold of jieun's hands they just sobbed together.

"easy as always" donghyuck thought to himself, hiding his mischievous smirk.
