The Adaptation꘏
"Damn, hello stranger," Armenia spoke, clicking her heels towards Mezee as his arms extended for a hug. Embracing her scent, Mezee smiled. Armenia looked good as ever, her smooth brown skin glowing in the night light.
His injuries healed quickly and in no time he was back in Detroit sending the drop. Fauci had given him the option to stay at his facilities and still get what he was owed or go back, alone and triple it.
What do you think he chose?"You look beautiful, why I'm just now being graced by your presence?" Mezee replied, slightly biting his bottom lip. They were waiting in line at the theater for tickets to see the new horror movie that was premiering. It was packed as expected but they felt like the only two in the room by looks they kept exchanging.
"I've been out the city, I moved to Connecticut last fall for school. I really miss home though, but yeah I'm visiting my mom and grandmother for a few weeks," Armenia beamed, Mezee admired her determination and spirit. It was like she was speaking his language with every word.
He'd wanted to go to school, just didn't know what he'd major in. Plus with this life, you didn't really want to draw too much attention to yourself, you either were in the game or out. No in between.
His vision was just painted differently.
After the movie Armenia suggested they hit up her favorite ice cream shop, Helado Y Fruta. "It was okay, I've seen scarier," Mezee replied to Aremenia asking if he had gotten as scared as she did.
It was mediocre as hell and he honestly wanted to laugh at some parts of the movie. "The acting could've been better, absolutely but the plot, wow," Armenia spoke, as Mezee opened the door for her to enter the shop. "Damn it smell good in here," Mezee spoke, taking in the colorful display of fruits, sweets and other items.
"They have hookah too, you want a specific flavor?" Armenia smirked, noticing the gleam in Mezee's eyes. He was just high as hell though, he wanted to buy the whole ice cream parlor.
"Un banana split y agrega bombas de cereza por favor," Armenia spoke, before being handed a ticket number. "What're Cherry Bombs?" Mezee questioned. His Spanish wasn't the best but his grandmother spoke it as well as his sister.
"They're edible cherries, they hit you hard as hell too but they're really good, don't worry,"Grabbing his hand Armenia led him to the back patio. Taking in his appearance, Armenia chuckled at how low and red his eyes were. He looked good enough to eat right now but she refrained from saying anything.
"I'm gonna run to the ladies room, don't miss me too much," She smirked before getting up. Watching her walk away, Mezee rested in his chair more before picking up his phone.

New Text from Syn
Placing his phone on do not disturb, Mezee got deep in his thoughts. He still had feeling for Syn but maybe it was time he moved around. She wasn't leaving Lamonte no time soon it seemed and Mezee wasn't ul for being a side piece.
Hell, they never even kissed before let alone fucked. He'd be lying if he said he didn't need to buss one. But he'd never let that interfere with what he had going on with Armenia. He didn't wanna scare her off either so he refrained from speaking on what he really did for a living.
