Prompt; PPL meets for the first time in Westcreek.
PEACHY BIT bit her lip anticipating and hoping for her name to show up on the projector screen. Ms. Lewis was reading the names for the winners of the character traits and her class was next. This month, Peachy made sure to be on her best behaviour, she knew that the honesty award was something she could definitely win. She watched as Reb and Mina from Ms.Dale's class stood at the front, holding their awards. They were looking back the projector screen while the current winner was being announced.
"Vinster and Louie from Ms. Trimbles," Ms. Lewis smiled. Rebecca and Mina broke out into smiles as they watched Vin walk up to them while the audience cheered. Peachy, on the other hand, was worrying whether or not she'd get this award or not. She broke off one of her friendships for this freaking award, telling the teacher that yes, in fact, her friend did break the vent to the roof. "Next up, from Ms. Balamohan's class..."
"Peachy!" Peachy couldn't stop herself from smiling and running up and snatching that award out of the principals hand. She stood with a smile plastered all over her face and she peeked to the side, where Vin, Reb and Mina were all talking. Mina caught her out of the side of her eye and said, "Congrats Peachy!" Peachy looked down and smiled in reply.
~*Time skip to in the office when they all get their extra awards*~
"I really didn't think I was gonna win this," Vin whispered to herself. "I lied like... more than 17 times this month."
"17 times?" Peachy asked.
Vin sat up almost immediately. "No. You didn't hear that! I am a truthful student and I love this school," Reb and Mina laughed behind her. "Anyways, what restaurant do you guys think you want to go to?"
"How about Mandarin?" Peachy suggested. Everyone nodded their heads in agreement and so their decision was made.
