Chapter 5

As I limped towards the now unlocked door, I couldn't help but be satisfied by the fact that I wasn't hurt too bad! I think... My mind was foggy and it seemed like the room was spinning...

"Let's go Gimpy." Natasha (finally learned her name) called and I grumbled, trying to pick up the pace.

We walked along a dark corridor before entering a large room, that seemed to be control panel of some sort. "Uh, where are we?"

"Above New York?"

"A-above?" I stuttered.

Zues is going to fry me!

"Don't worry. They can't trace you immediately." She assured and laughed at the face I was making.

"Hey! What is he doing out of his cell?" The man from before yelled and stomped over here.

"Relax Fury, I got some info out of him. He's all good."

I tried to look like I knew what was happening but I was still freaked out with the fact that I was in Zeus's domain.

"I know your lying Natasha. You just made it look like you interrogated the kid." He snapped and she looked up in surprise.

"How?!"

"He'd be bleedin' a lot more if you did." Fury chuckled and I turned to him.

"I didn't tell her anything because if I told the truth, then you guys would throw me in a cell and experiment on me. I've already had that happen one to many times." I finally spoke and crossed my arms. They both looked at me.

"We would have never..." Natasha started but Fury interrupted her, "We would have definitely done that."

I frowned as the two shared a look. "Fine!" Fury grumbled like a small child, "We won't do anything to you if you, if you tell us the truth."

Man, I need to get better at keeping secrets...
